@Agree with you. Wanted a deal to help both. McAvoy not in the realm of possibility for me. I want Carlo for his game which the Rangers don't have and Beech and the #1. I think Kreids and Trouba might put B town over which I would like even though a Ranger fan.

Hey Spanky...having a hard time getting the hang of the site...anyways u r right on the D. I always felt you build a club from the net out. Georgy is a quality goalie and Chitown is fresh out. Strome has found his game and will be a great 2 or 3 for them. Yeah, I do think trade is equal for a very good goalie and centerman.

Hey Hanson493. This takes place before his NMC clause. Beantown is a great hockey town with huge tradition. With their forwards he and Krieds are in the running for the prize. I felt both sides got. NYC to Boston is almost a commute these days so he will be close to his honey...much better than the Peg!

cap and hopeful
Fair comments. Putting the Ads trade together looked at their current goalie situation. My thoughts were here is Georgie giving a big upgrade in talent, nhl experience and cap space to the team. likewise Brady for the term of his K. Avs have to give up promising talent and a #2 for return. Their line up is deeper now for their Cup Run then before the trade. Plus with all the talent they have coming in there is only room for so many. Maybe this crystalizes the choices they have to make. NYR open room for Igor and get some cap relief.

couldn't be happier. let them deal with his cap and d. no disrespect to ADA would rather have the big guy back there as a deterrent and fixed cost for next year. can always re-up or trade at a later date. getting their #2 isa key.

Bcarlo25 thanks for the response. IMO Brady and Jacob are both overated and not worth the cap. There is a reason why the jets didn't go to bat for him. Pavel will never be either of the K boys so why invest cap there? Butcher and Deangelo can school Fox and Rykov. Shats if played right will surprise all the naysayers he's healthy and working. The cap space will allow the team to make moves at either the deadline or 20 draft. Its not easy giving up names but its hockey players that are needed. By the by if Carlo can be had I would love him.
