Where to fit ABB
I have read Raddysh is more along than Katchouk. I agree ABB top six or on the bench. He will be injury insurance. Training camp will be interesting deciding bottom six forwards and Bogo vs Foote.

TB would love to have Rust. However we have $719 in cap space.... Will you retain 100% of salary?

Youth movement continues
TB has a solid backup goalie that is 350,000 less expensive. If you look at TB cap space it is $8000. Why we would give up a first for a backup extra that puts TB over the cap?

but i agree with your perspective. here just sad those two future HOF don't get a cup.</div></div>
Oh I agree. However does not work that way. We are set for this year. year 2 and 3 we need younger guys and those 2 just don’t fit the bill. Besides we just added two older forwards for the fourth line.

All 3 need to go thru waivers. Two will make the team and the third JBB will trade to SY for a pick. I think the 2 that stays are ABB and Raddysh. Camp will be interesting.

I agree Colton can replace Gourde. Joseph can replace Goodrow. The one concern is, will Raddysh do well? All reports are he is ready and he is a large two way player that skates well. The Gourde line was special and does not come along often. I will miss Gourde and his pit bull mentality.

Gets better. Smith will go to AHL. Either Raddysh or Katchouk makes the team. They both make $8333 more than Smith leaving 600 bucks!

I do not think so. We have three young forwards ready to make the team. Barre Boulet, Raddysh and Katchouck. All will need to go through waivers and probably be picked up. I see two of them making the team and the third traded to get some return. We need to bring in some new young blood at forward position

Coleman story is great. Traded to Tampa on 2/16/20. His wife is due and delivers a baby on 2/28/20, Story is that Stamkos wife took charge helping her find doctors in Tampa.
This year during the playoffs 6/15 Coleman’s wife, Jordan, went into labor on a Sunday morning and was admitted into the hospital shortly after 7 a.m. With puck drop set for 3 p.m., Coleman was faced with a game-time decision. He played. Coleman knew he was taking a small risk. Updates throughout the game helped him keep tabs on Jordan. Baby born late that night.

Bruins my number two team born and grew up in the Boston suburbs, According Bruins sources Goodrow the target at 4 mill plus, Coleman worth more than goodrow. https://bostonhockeynow.com/2021/07/12/boston-bruins-source-bruins-will-go-hard-after-barclay-goodrow/

It is a very nice comment coming from a Canes and Islander fan. Will be interesting to see if Trotz finds a way to handle all four lines. I see the series going at least 6 games.

I assume you know they have not drafted a defenseman that has stuck with the team since SY took over. Hedman was before SY. Some they have traded none have reached top four pairings. Maybe Gudas but that is a stretch. For all the great drafts the defense drafting has been very bad,

I think Palat, Killorn bring great value. Just not sure this year with many teams pressed for salary cap space. Last year and this year Palat has upped his game and belongs on any team's first line. Killorn always one of my favorites. Power forward, plays 200 foot game plays in all situations. Good for 50 points a year and has missed about 6 games the last 5 tears. Have always w the Killer haters in the past.

Yes Tampa has cap issues. That is why a combination of Johnson, Killorn, Palat, Gourde. McDonah will be moved. Except for Johnson they all have value. Their value will be lessened due to our cap issue.
