Lets discuss and I will make changes based on Consensus
What about Shalunov in a year or two coming to the NHL. He has looked good in Russia

I think it’s great lines, my point though is I think Gaudette could be a top 6 forward for us.

Too Many Centers
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>exo2769</b></div><div>A number of these guys have played wing at some point. Kurashev, Suter, Kampf, Söderberg, Shaw. I think Strome is the hard one to predict right now. Hes playing well and a big reason the Hawks PP is so hot right now. He's someone that really hasn't translated to Wing. Toews is a pure center. Even if he has to go to the #3C...he'd be amazing there too. Dach maybe at Wing. His ability to control the puck actually reminds me of Hossa on the boards. Even in his rookie year he was beating NHL veterans routinely along the boards. Am I worried that will hurt his growth as a future #1C...a little, but I don't have a crystal ball either. Id 100% be happy if he turned into Hossa FOR SURE! would still be an outstanding pick at #3 OA.</div></div>
I agree I would love to see him be a Hossa type player
So what would that make you top 4 centers
Toews
Strome
Wallmark
Kampf
Thinking that Kurashev Shaw suter carpenter all go to wing and soderburg leaves or gets traded??

My worry for Columbus is Shaw my not ever play again so Saad is kind of used as a sweetener to get a potential top 4 D man

Columbus trade idea around Strome
what would the Murray and Nutivarra offer be if you prefer trading one of those players
I feel like storme for gavrikov wasn’t an awful trade in terms of value. He does only have one NHL season under his belt.

Whats better
First I think Stan and Jeremy need to go both of them. Stan has had multiple chances and has just missed to many times. He over complicated things and just need to keep it simple. I say the same for Jeremy the system just doesn’t work for our team. Owners have already told him once to dumb it down or else. I think it starts there. I do agree though that what this team needs is Alexander Holtz or Lucas Raymond. A top end forward prospect with the ability to play top 6 Holtz is a goal scorer so he would kind of be out future Kane while Raymond is more two way forward and kind of reminds me of Hossa a bit in his ability to play in any situation PP PK and 5v5 and thrive.
My biggest hope is that we trade Lehner and Saad. The haul we could get for Lehner is a top prospect and a first or second depending on the prospect and Saad gets us a first easy and maybe a prospect. I am in the minority in saying I would also trade for a struggling or mid range goalie. Why can’t we roll into next year with Crow and Lank/Delia or a Crow and Domingue/Riemer/Mrazek combo I also think Martin jones gets bought out.
No Crow is not a stud anymore but he proved he could stay healthy and he should sign a much smaller deal saving us a ton in the cap not having 11M ties up in goalies

Next Season no trades
I hate that third line though. I love Cags but he can’t stay healthy and I feel like we need to move on and get what we can for him.

Chicago Trades Down
I don't see Chicago trading Debrincat for less then a top 10 pick right now. The team believes with him and the aging core they could still make a run. He is also going to be the eventual replacement for Kane in 5+ years

I think the Hawks could get a bit more in that Keith trade, but I like the Lightning trade a lot. I am confused why you don't just reunite all three otters players on the same line?

I think I am comfortable offer that as a hawks fan in need of forward depth and talent

2019 -2020
I kind of went trade crazy, and i think a few are a bit of a hope but I really love the three signings of Gardiner, Ferland, and Mrazek incase of Crawford's health. The two RFA's in Bennett and Kapanen could be huge adds for the hawks but I am nervous as to how much it could cost the hawks to acquire them. I am hoping to trade just about anyone this trade deadline and I really want to get younger and faster .
