A good comparison indeed!

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BCAPP</b></div><div>So assuming chiarot is a minor throw in for cap reasons as much as anything:
It comes down to Poehlings value. Not a Habs fan so I may be mistaken but he doesn't seem like a particularly great prospect at this point. So id say not enough. Maybe two prospects like him? Like him and Evans and the first?</div></div>
Poehling is good, not a bust, it's just that at some point we (or at least I) thought he could become 2nd line C, and as of today I believe he'll be more of a complementary piece on the bottom 6.
Not sure Evans could go, he's like the perfect 4C for us right now. But guys like Struble, Harris, Norlinder, Olofsson, Hillis, Luke Tuch, Charlie Lindgren, Ikonen, etc...

Mmm, not sure he still has such a potential. Likely 3rd line C I believe. Reason why I'm open for us (MTL) to add another prospect in there.

I add Chiarot here cuz we need to move out salary (and ideally a LD to make room for Ehkolm) but Chiarot's value is very small here. I think we could add a prospect not named Kotkaniemi, Suzuki or Caufield, or a 2nd rd pick to that offer.

Carolina fans thoughts
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mhockey91</b></div><div>Similar stats, drouin a little younger so he has a little more value, but the difference in value is definitely not Suzuki. You habs fans overrate drouin like crazy.</div></div>
Nino has two 50+ pts season at 28 years old. The guy is already declining.
Drouin did it twice but at 25 years old. And we all know his ceiling is much higher. We never used him very greatly since he is here, and that's on us.
Still, Drouin is much better than Nino. I don't think CAR would sacrifice Suzuki for him tho.

Danault - Trading Him - Losing Him - Keeping him
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Campabee</b></div><div>Most likely KK passes him before the end of the year and because of that he takes 4-5 Mil to play 3C. I don't see Danault wanting to leave especially if Montreal makes the playoffs and advances to at least the 2nd round.</div></div>
Treat me fool, I can see a 4 year - 20M$ worth contract. This pandemic will change the whole picture for contracts over the next two years, so if Danault think he can have more than 6M$ per, and over 6 years, I don't see it.

Sergi cirelli worth trading

So the Kings won't trade Macdermid in a proposal that includes Sergachev coming back?
That's a bummer.

He is no Bergeron at all. He's just better and way more useful to us right now than Kane.
Oh and, he won't be overpaid on his next contract, like Kane is.

Adding Tyler Johnson
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>Rakell, Jones, Larsson, Steel, plus Tracey and Perreault lately* -- yeah, I'd do that.
Plus, he's a cap dump only to Tampa. I think he's got two reasonable years left in him.
* not to mention Corey Perry</div></div>
You are right. Tyler Johnson has a ****ty contract but he is not Lucic. I think Ana could manage to handle his contract and have 2-3 decent years from him. But a 1st rd pick is clearly a starting point, nothing less than that.

Exactly. They might be able to build a solid D core, but very few interesting forwards.

I think he can. I don't see him being a top-10 among Cs in the league. Perhaps top-15, more likely in the top-20. Which to me is very, very good.

I'd be happy if you guys would take Tatar, however I'm not that high on Lavoie. I'd rather ask a 2021 or 2022 1st d pick, top-10 protected, and I would push my luck to try to grab a Ty Tullio or Ryan Mcleod in that deal... ;P
