I think Gaudreau is very unnecessary for MTL. They are already small on the wings, not that there's anything wrong with that, but at least they have bite in Gallagher and Domi. If they want that pure sniper wait a second for Caufield

he has one year left and anaheim isn't a contender. Why the heck would they trade a quality guy with term for someone they probably won't be able to keep?

Karlsson to Mtl is a possibility IF he's willing to do so . 12X7 . The lateral move would be to trade Drouin + the 12 egg pack he is carrying against future . Petry have greater value then that , have a restricted NMC , and i would trade him unless that his desire . i would play Karlsson on left side of Weber but what do i know ..

when losing their top d man, I don't think San Jose really wants to lose a solid 18 minute guy along with him, but I do appreciate you giving Karlsson the kind of money it would take to get him to a canadian market. Kudos on that.
