Apparently Philly made this offer for Deb
As a CHI fan, that is interesting. But what is even more interesting is that you called him "Deb" for short. Just makes me think of DeBrincat with curlers in his hair, a night gown on, and a cigarette hanging out his mouth. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy, so I am going to start calling him Deb as well.

I seriously doubt that. Even at full cost they'll receive something for him, at $2,85M he's still not overpaid. It's pretty much what a goalie of his caliber would receive from free agency.

not sure the habs want to trade him but if they did he's too old for their core so maybe the want someone else. i wouldn't say he's on a good contract, just a fair contract.

That's straight up not true. Sure, MTL would probably need to retain salary but he's still a reliable tandem-goalie. Will net them a 3rd rounder easily, possibly even more than that.

Good luck with that.
There were 5 goalies this year that had over .920. Shesterkin, Sorokin, Markström, Andersen and Kuemper. And I don't see any of them moving anywhere.

That’s a really short list of goalies. I can’t see EDM getting any of them

It could be Robertson, but if Vancouver still wants to be a playoff contender, I'd rather have Kerfoot. He's actually a good player. He can drive with speed, has fine scoring and can play the PK. He isn't used on the PP, but I can see his skills translating to that. I have my doubts of Robertson. Good flash, hasn't been given the opportunity but something says, meh.

Berge Pulls Off A Big Splash
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>koremoo</b></div><div>Yeah I know. I don't particularly want Eichel because it puts us in a tough spot financially but I wanted to see what people think about the package. I must admit it's a big package for him but I'm afraid that's the price. It starts w/ Suzuki and then adds quality prospects.</div></div>
First of all, I don't think Bergevin will or want to trade Suzuki because he is really important to us. Kaiden Guhle, I really compare him to Jakob Chychrun of the Coyotes and will very well replace Chiarot or Edmundson in a couple years. Jordan Harris is another potential top 4 D for us. To conclude, Sean Farrell just put 101 pts in the USHL and he is very underrated I think and a steal where we drafted him. He has the potential to be a middle 6 player in the NHL. I don't think we will make that Eichel trade because those players will help us in a couple years.

Armia hits so we know he'll be playing. I know Habs fans love Caufield but he might be like a deer in the headlights in a playoff series. If the Habs have any shot at beating the Leafs then they'll have to employ some psychological warfare and make the Leafs doubt themselves. Perry can still be an effective rat. Even though he looks more like a hyena.

you are thinking about this way to 1 dimensionally, what incentive does SJ have to trade Meier, none, unless its an offer that cannot be refused. Sharks hold Meier's rights, and he still hasn't even hit his potential, Danault is a 1 year rental for a 2C we don't need.

Top 10 Players At Each Position IMO
I like your list. If I was gonna nitpick, I'd say Gallagher, Price, and Binnington are a little too high... maybe Wheeler or Tarasenko or Voracek slip into the RW list. Binner was pretty average this year and since that's a majority of his track record, I'd probably have him behind some more proven guys like Kuemper, Lehner, Bob, Andersen, etc. Guess a lot of it depends on your conditions for the rankings too. Hard to really rank guys given the context, recency bias, risers/fallers, etc.

Mike Hoffman is pretty much a 30 goal per season winger. Probably going to be closer to 4 x $6.5m to sign him.

I think it's fair but we'd probably just go to Libor Hajek before paying anything more. NYR are looking for long-term fixtures but third round pick for a short term guy isn't bad. Some team will definitely beat the offer tho

Best Player On Each Team Not Including UFAs or RFAs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>koremoo</b></div><div>I could've done RFAs but I think many of the UFAs are going to move this offseason so I don't really count them. As for the RFAs, Armchair GM doesn't allow me to do 2019-2020 season anymore, so I would have to create them manually and that is too much effort lol. I can understand why you think that Marchand is better than Pastrnak and it is very close for me. The tipping point is probably the age for me and that I'm not sure if Marchand's style of play is sustainable on his body until he is in his late 30s. As for LA, I still think Doughty is a good defensemen, but it is also pretty close.</div></div>
Okay, well I thought right now. In couple of seasons, Pastrnak will be better than Marchand (but even then, think McAvoy will be the best in Boston). Right now, Marchand.
