Panarin Trade - Rental
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NucksFanForLife</b></div><div>It's close. I think that Columbus ideally wants high end prospects. Maybe add Volkov?</div></div>
I think Tampa would be good with that since there's still him Raddysh, Stephens, Barre-Boulet, Verhaeghe, Somppi. Just initial offer, although if they add another higher prospect, it'd take Masin out.

Columbus is apparently looking to move him since he refuses to sign until the end of the season, and Tampa is definitely looking to add still. Never hurts to be better.

Tampa would say no, plus they can't trade that 2019 1st Rounder anyways, it's conditional to Rangers if Tampa wins the cup.

If Point agrees to a bridge deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LoganOllivier</b></div><div>Yes and no, they could sit him but no one wins that and if they did, I am sure his agent would pursue an offer sheet. Moving him would result in a trade where Tampa loses. They'll end up sending him somewhere for less than he is worth, just look at the offers the Leafs apparently got for Nylander. It was always some lesser player and a pick or two. Would you be okay with Tampa playing hardball and sending him to Arizona for Keller and a 1st?</div></div>
Absolutely

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LoganOllivier</b></div><div>I personally believe the bridge deal for young stars is a thing of the past. Point's agent is going to be looking for more than Eichel money and he very well could get it. Point is having a crazy good season and Tampa will have little to no negotiating power to ask for a bridge.</div></div>
Tampa actually has more power, no matter what if they can't come to terms, they move him, or they can let him sit for up to the next 5 seasons as an RFA.

Cap Hell
NTC's aren't as bad as they used to be. New CBA made sure of that. I believe all of them have clause's such as "10 teams no-trade list" so they can all still be traded, just to a slightly more select group of teams. It's NMC's such as Callahan's that cause real hell.

NJD trading UFAs
Toronto already tried the Brian Boyle trade and didn't like him.
Winnipeg is in the right place but I think not enough going their way.
Colorado trade would work well for everyone except maybe Zadorov. The kid is reported to have an attitude problem so a change of scenery could either be really good for him or a meltdown.

Just about almost every fanbase laughing at these. I'd like someone to take Tyler Johnson off Tampa's hand but more likely to not see that until the expansion draft.

Tampa Bay 2019
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>matulix</b></div><div>I expect Point to sign for like 6.75-7.25M AAV, 7-8 years.
Also that Rangers deal isn't that advantageous for them. With those picks we would need to add some prospect imo.</div></div>
If Brisebois is really really good at going around the cap maybe but I have to think it'll be 7M+ since he's definitely worth more than Nylander's 6.9M and he's not getting Toronto endorsement money.
If Tampa has to throw in a prospect, look for Mitchell Stephens or Boris Katchouk to be added to the deal. That isn't an issue for their prospect depth although definitely wouldn't be Foote or Raddysh added.

He has to submit a team of 16 teams he'd accept a trade to I believe. Montreal is technically the closest thing he has to a hometown team since there's none in the true Atlantic part of Canada, it just helps they have lots of cap room and no big names to sign for a few years outside of Max Domi. It makes sense for them to add more depth with a history of scoring.

Idea is there though.</div></div>
For next year he could be one of their only options unless they want to play a bunch of rookies which they already could be, my idea is to bring him back and pair him with a few people he had success with in Syracuse. Maybe some chemistry could help them at least be a successful 4th energy line.

Tyler Johnson is saying no with his no-trade clause.
Edmonton and no team is giving up prospects or picks for Killorn. He's a cap dump situation.
Same applies to Callahan.
Paquette likely gone at the end of this season. Look for Barre-Boulet, or Stephens to make the jump to the NHL before Raddysh.

Cirelli is more valuable than Raddysh. It's likely to more along the lines of Mitchell Stephens.

I don’t think I even had Knight as the number 5 or 6 goalie on my list. Swayman was a political choice since he was on the team last year, and I know I had Kyle Keyser right on the borderline. As for York, I don’t think he’s quite there yet, plus I already put 2 draft eligibles on this team. USA usually likes to carry none unless they’re too good to ignore, Hughes definitely fits that and Kaliyev is no guarantee. He may not even get an invite since USA likes to stick with “their guys” in the NCAA over those who picked the CHL such as why Logan Brown, DeBrincat, and Yamamoto all got left off the roster a couple seasons back.

Team Russia World Junior Roster - December Edition
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>commondreads94</b></div><div>I would probably throw Nikolai Kovalenko into the mix as well to play on the wing for Russia, and although Russia is usually a team comprised almost entirely out of 19 year olds, I wonder if Vasily Podkolzin is also on the radar due to the way he lit the Hlinka-Gretzky tournament on fire.
EDIT: Also I imagine Grigori Denisenko is on the radar as well, or at least he should be. Kid is uber skilled, could be one of Russia's better forwards at the tournament.</div></div>
I wanted to include so many younger Russians and those playing in the CHL, but like you said they tend to use more 19 year olds and those they’ve developed so I had to look a lot to who they played with during the CIBC Super Series to kinda make some of the picks.
