I agree, I made this in a hopeful way. Can't understand the reasoning of why Khulman sits for Nordstrom

what the lines should be without a trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>What they should be:
Marchy-Bergy-Pasta
Debrusk-Krejci-Heinen
Donato-JFK-Backes. If jfk not ready Debrusk-Backes-Bjork
Kuraly-Wagner-Acciari
HS Nordstrom-Szwarz
Unfortunately i think they go with Kuraly at C3 and Nordstrom on LW4 and they won’t get a dozen goals combined out of them.</div></div>
I just think they need to split up the top line this year because having a guy who can finish with the top line (donato) and then moving pasta down with 46 and 74 would make for a great top 6. I really don't like the idea of kuraly being the third line centre. With the energy he provides he is great on the fourth line, and it should stay that way.

lineup in the playoffs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>Krug and McAvoy haven't been a pairing all season. It'll be #33 and #73 that are your top pairing. Also, Heinen a healthy scratch? The guy is the 4th highest producing forward on the team behind Marchand, Bergeron & Pastrnak...why would we bench him?</div></div>
The Krug McAvoy was a mistake. Personally, I would start the 3rd line with Donato on the LW because he is very hot right now and with backes and nash on that line, they get a really good scorer which they don't have with heinen.

So you have Brandon Carlo who has played top 4 minutes for the last 2 years on a pretty good defensive team below Zboril who plays in the AHL and will next year as well? Hmmmmmmm

Better (Realistic) Defence
Just btw Filppula won't play for Babcock (this was brought up when he wouldn't waive to go to TML last deadline). Also Carlson will want more $ and EDM doesn't give up that much for Gardiner. What will happen when Matthews/Marner need big $ next year? big cap troubles coming in this situation.

That's a great example of just looking at how many points someone has, and not looking deeper and looking through advanced stats

With the cap going up you have to think that McAvoy gets more then that, especially if he keeps up the pace he's going at now.

Why do people still put Sergachev ahead of McAvoy?? He's a 20 year old who is 6th in the NHL in 5v5 TOI on a team that has been very good defensively this season. In their last 11 wins they have not let the opposition score more then 2 goals. Yes Sergachev has more points, but come on.... do you really think if you asked Steve Yzerman who he wants as his young future "franchise defenceman", that he would pick Sergachev over McAvoy

Sign JVR
.<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Doug7004</b></div><div>Yep. . . . .JVR could fit right in with that group. . . . .OLD. . . . .SLOW. . . . . and OVERPAID!</div></div>
If your comparing him to people like backes or beleskey or krejci you are wrong:
Backes- 33 years old-16/17 season: 38 points 74 gp $6 million
Beleskey- 29 years old- 16/17 season: 8 points 49 gp $3.8 million
Krejci- 31 years old- 16/17 season 54 points 82 gp $7.25 million
JVR- 28 years old- 16/17 season (29 goals, 64 points) 17/18 season 13 goals 7 assists in 20 gp playing on a very offensively talented team. So to make 6.25 million when the cap is going up is not overpaid like some of the contracts of the current bruins that you are making comparisons to. And no JVR is NOT slow.
