Playoffs
Your title is "Playoffs", so do you really think this team can be in the playoffs when you have to compete with the Leafs, Bruins, Lighting and almost all the Metropolitan teams.

I totally agree . The Islanders would never give up Tavares AND Barzal for next to nothing. Also on Calgary's point of view, you've already gave up on one or maybe even two, potential lottery picks, why would you want to give up yet ANOTHER one. Tavares, and Barzal didn't get the Islanders to the playoffs, so what makes you think they would get the Flames to the playoffs. However that is a stunning roster. Oh yah and giving up 3 possible lottery picks in 3 years is never a good thing.

About Komarov, he injured, yes, but he's really good, so I don't know what you're talking about when you say "that he's pretty bas to begin with."

Hyman has been GREAT so far this playoffs, and you're gonna put him on the 4th line!?!? Just No. Also Polak has been quite good recently so why do you take him out of the lineup for a guy who can't hit (BORGMAN). I don't think Dermott is ready to play on the 1st line, but he has been very good, so I would put him on the 2nd pair with Polak, because him and Polak have been GREAT together. The Marleau, Plekanec, Marner line has been terrific, so I would keep them together. Johnsson should not be on the 1st line but he is good. A few people said maybe have a line of Johnsson, Kadri, Kapanen. I think that wuld really work, so then you have that line as the 3rd line, and then the Marner line as the 2nd line, and then the Matthews line. Or maybe make the Marner line the 1st line because Matthews and Nylander haven't been that good. I also think you keep Bozak in there, and depending on how injured Komarov is maybe you put Moore in cause he's been pretty good in the playoffs.

Game 5 Lines
I really like it, except I would put Johnsson, Kadri, and Kapanen on the 3rd line and move JVR Bozak Brown to the 4th, because let's face it, their getting 4th line minutes, except on special teams.

Game 3 Lines
Why are you putting Conner Carrick in the lineup. He is not very good defensively and so is Gardiner who is his line mate. I think Polak has actually been playing very good in the playoffs, while Carrick when he is in the lineup seems to do nothing. Also Babcock like Polak and doesn't have much confidence in Carrick. I think Carrick is as good a Garner on defense (which is not very good) and worse the Gardiner on Offense. I truly think that Polak has contributed more. Also I think you keep Bozak on the third line. But otherwise the Offense line look pretty good.

Playoff lines if I was coach
Bozak is better than Moore, Bozak is better than Plekanec, Bozak is a 3rd line center!!! Also how do you not have Andreas Johnsson on the roster, let alone the actually lineup. Also Polak is a good penalty killer and he heats up late in the season so I think he should be in the lineup.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Burgerboss92</b></div><div>Yeah, Leafs need Kadri. They also need Matthews, Marner and Nylander to be offensively good. But keeping all those four is not enough since your defense is too mediocre. Every single Stanley Cup winner from the last 6 or 7 years has had one of the greatest d-men of the league in their roster. Toronto doesn't, and cannot afford to get one if they keep all of those four star forwards. Essentially, you'd have to give up one of those. It doesn't have to be Kadri, it can be Marner or Nylander as well. In my opinion, TOR must do a trade if they want to even dream about winning the cup.</div></div>
Yes but why Weber. Weber is expensive, he old, (for a hockey player) he plays for the Leafs rivial, the Canadiens and look at the free agent market over the next 3 seasons, a handful of good defensemen are free agent not to mention the Leafs have a top prospect WHO IS A DEFENSMEN (Timothy Liljegren) so Weber is not needed especially when you are trading Kadri. Doughty wants to become a Maple Leaf, Karlsson is friends with Doughty and the Leafs have timothy liljegren, that is a bad trade for the Leafs.

If you want Kapanen give us Seguin back!! FUN FACT, (not so fun for Leafs fans) Tyler Seguin was drafted by the Boston Bruins 2nd overall with a Maple Leafs 1st round pick that was traded as part of the Bruins-Leafs trade that sent Phil Kessel to Toronto. As well as that the Leafs also traded a pick in THAT SAME TRADE that ended up being defensemen Dougie Hamilton.

Yah, but the Leafs need Kadri, he is an important part of the team, he is a on the 1st power play unit and has good chemistry with his line mate, Mitch Marner. As well as that Kadri is younger and cheaper than Weber.
