i am not confident in vasilevsky's play atm, and i have a feeling he may not be as good as people think he will be., cap hell may not come considering when free agency frenzy comes along garrison and filppula's contracts become trade-able money and value wise somebody will want filppula and will be willing to take all his cap since he is actually a good player, second garrison contract we may need to retain a bit of salary in his contract when he is traded but the point is he will become trade-able when he is on his last year next season.

its hard to value a man that is on his last year of his contract, i mean he has rfa status and ask for a truck filled with money but that will be a dallas problem. The concept of more is appealing, but the nhl is tough. I am just not sure what else can be earned ?

added in a lil something just because Dallas is in the race, and center depth never hurts in the playoffs.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DirtyDangles</b></div><div><i>You should probably try and get some compensation for TJ.</i></div></div> don't know who would trade for him and i expect Tampa to tank this season due to the injury plague so i would imagine he is on the market.

it is likely palat will resign, it was outside the box thinking im just tired of being fed to the wolves on here, when my ideas are practical. But Palat would be ideal to sign, but i like shatty and we need a top tier rhd and he is a prime candidate.

well there can always be a retain of Niemi's salary. but desperate times means desperate measures, the worst case of what can happen is we lose palat or drouin, (prefered drouin to leave) because losing johnson is not an option !

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DirtyDangles</b></div><div><i>What about next year? Drouin, Palat and Johnson will all want over $5 mil per.</i></div></div>
drouin will not deserve 5 mill for first of all he will most likely get 3 max if he plays great this year if not 2 or less or traded and then the expansion draft will eat killorn or Namestnikov contract, we will most likely buy ou or trade Filppula or garrison next season to clear room for johnson and palat
