Send him anywhere. Only for cap purposes if they sign a solid starter

Heard during his signing he was still considering staying til the last minute too. Honestly things worked out we have a deep pool of young players and he can still keep up with them. Don't see a reason not to sign him or give him a tryout unless he stays with Lou and Palms</div></div>
If Sevo looks for Max terms let him go no need for him for 7-8 years. but if he is willing as he has stated he wanted to be apart of seeing this through keep him he can still make the right passes to jumpstart the O and isn't a D liability.

Imagine both Bratt and Pastrnak get that as well (if they want it). Sharangovich, let’s wait and see.
Also, how well would Parise be revived if we brought him back? Lotta mixed feelings there.</div></div>

Playoff Season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NHLfan10506</b></div><div>Cap could be $86.5 million ($4 million more than what is listed)
Sharangovich 3 x $2,500,000 --> 5 x $4.25 million
Severson 3 x $5,000,000 --> 8 x $6.25 million
Bratt 5 x $6,000,000 --> 8 x $8 million
Pastrnak 6 x $11,000,000 --> 7 x $10 million
That is an additional $4 million</div></div>
Would be nice but will probably be used anyway. Personally think we will get lucky if we can sign Pasta, whatever it cost which likely will be at 11. Would love to keep Sevo to keep up with the speed of the team but at around 6.5 idk

Only for Cap space if needed. Would keep him as a back up but if we can sign a goalie to carry the load i.e Jarry or Andersen. 3 mil is a lot for a back u if you can put it on forming 4 decent lines and great D depth.

Trade Deadline Fire Ruff
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TheMooterus</b></div><div>Daws is 21. That's way too early to trade away a kid that was forced into the NHL last season due to injuries. Let him develop for another couple of years and see what you've got with him. You trade him away for a 4th and let another team develop him into a legit starter and you're going to be kicking yourself for the next decade.</div></div>
I totally agree! Hence me saying i like the guy. However 1 the staff has proven they cant develop a goalie so he will have a better chance elsewhere. 2 at this point the only way they get a decent return on any goalies is by selling teams on the idea of potential. Coaching staff would likely ruin him. Plus why i stated they are better off just spending the money on a proven starter. Schmid has as much potential so keep one or the other.

I don't hate Ruff tbh. And part of it is the goaltending. But looked like a lot of players didn't have the chemistry or knew what roles they should be playing . However its early and i hope that is figured out this year cus if not aRuff will be out this team has the talent. They are a few Solid vets and decent goaltending which i think VV will bring away from a winning season

Marino looked real sharp tonight. Mercer, Holtz and Haula did as well. Hughes needs a sniper on his wing. Sharangovich wasn't impactful. Blackwood needs to be better</div></div>
I agree Holtz and Haula got after it tonight, Mercer had alot of chances he could have capitalized on. Correct me if im wrong but hughes is supposed to be that guy. He could use a Pasta next to him. And if Pasta wants more pay him all he wants 10m 11m idc. Hughes as elite potential, shows signs of it on the rush but when the game gets slowed down he isnt the same.

Deadline move
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Smitty426</b></div><div>The interesting thing about your pkg of assets to AZ gets you 3 yrs of JC. He's been dinged up a bunch and I just wonder if moving severson ourselves for a 1st + is not a better move? If it goes the way you think (I'll disagree about still building) that is better than giving up pcs. The other part is Nemec full t8.e next yr and Hughes most likely starting after Mich is done this yr changes the immediate need.
Does Bahl or Okhotiuk get and keep the bottom spot on the left? Dies either shine enough to replace Graves. All TBD</div></div>
I agree but i don't think graves is sticking around. They made the right choice in giving JS the money this offseason. JC isn't a need but an extra D insurance that if we can get for an expiring contact would be nice.

Kindly must disagree, unless a team is willing to give up multiple top picks. which i don't think will be the case because you need a desperate team for a top D man. Obvi the Rotes won't do this unless they either know they can sign Sevo long term or are looking to take the 4.5 mil off the books by the end of the year. You have a good point they will probably want a 24 1st rounder instead. Id prefer NJ to hold onto that because i don't see the rebuilding ending as soon as others do. But won't be mad maybe even a 3rd or 2nd in 23 since its a deep draft. Not saying this is the best return AZ can get because there will be better offers and some team will get fleeced. But whoever it is will need to give up a prospect maybe NJ throws in a D prospect too, not exactly a AZ fan so idk what there needs are.

Ive seen your AGM don't even start plus idk what you are talking about the guy is 29. All I'm saying is if the writing is on the wall from management why don't you take a crack at signing on of the top wingers. Miller can keep up with hughes and has the size to create space with him.

Yall are insane NJ is going to have to lose a D prospect the pool is loaded rn with potential stars of Hughes, Nemec. Plus Walsh, Bahl Okhotiuk. Bahl fits the needs of Vancouver.
Sources say there is a bad taste between Bratt Agent and NJ so if your NJ and the writing is on the wall, in what world does NJ not say okay well if Miller will agree to an extension, here ya go.

They would def be open to that. Maybe throw in a extra pick depending on performance. But Tatar is a good veteran leadership for alot of young forwards. Drouin isnt staying in MTL
