Yea I would even say his number will be more along the lines of $3.7 million. And to whoever asked, yes Zacha is 1C this year. They are not getting a 1C.

Anaheim has a history of trades with Bos, they are $8 mill under the cap floor, and only have 5 defenseman under contract. didnt see anaheim as a stretch. the overall point is yes, either Gryzz or Forgot will get moved somehow.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DefenseFirst</b></div><div>Ohhh hahaha you’re so funny and clever! Pat yourself on the back for that.
No one has ever said he’s untouchable. You haven’t seen that several times because it’s never happened. However, a lot of idiots have just seen that he doesn’t score, and thrown him away, healthy scratched him etc. A lot of people have pointed out that he’s a very important piece of the bottom six, and a huge piece of the penalty kill.
Also, i know exactly what thread you’re talking about. You made a pretty bad ACGM that was in line with most bad boston acgms - damage the penalty kill, and get an unnecessary third line center and move coyle to wing.
Posters there told you why trading nosek as a throw in was as bad idea. You were the one that started saying, “ohhhh is he untouchable.” Then when you got detailed explanations as to why he’s important to the team, both using the eye test, logic, and some stats to back it up, you vanished.
Why make this? You’ve been given the answers already. Do you just like to be snarky and complain? Be better than this.</div></div>
I would never move Coyle to the wing.

Excuse me? Marchand maybe be one of the top penalty killing forwards ever, not to mention I don't know Mr. Selke Patrice Bergeron. Not to mention Coyle is a better penalty killer. Nosek is in the same group as about 5 other forwards on this team killing penalties.
Are you Tomas Nosek?

Why do I constantly see people say trading Nosek is a "really, really, really bad idea". It doesn't compute in my brain. So Nosek is somehow untouchable? If he was moved no one would care and the team would be fine, especially if, like you do when you make a trade, you are trying to make your team better.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DefenseFirst</b></div><div>Why do you need to move smith and reilly? (They don’t)</div></div>
Bruins have to clear at least $1.7 mill for forbort to be activated. Thats with Reilly buried. So yes, they need to move either Reilly or Smith.

I think Reilly is more overpaid than frederic. Frankly I just don’t see any case for waiving frederic over just sending Reilly down in a paper transaction. Apparently the bruins front office agreed.</div></div>
I'm not sure what Trent Frederic you are watching. He offers very little. He's not tough to play against at all. He's a 4th liner at best. At this point waiving him is really not a loss to the lineup.
I'll add that Reilly is absolutely overpaid and I can't stand the way he plays.

They aren't putting anyone on LTIR.
Wagner gets sent down to the AHL.
I have a better chance of playing on the first line than Frederic.
Lines are likely:
Zacha - Bergeron - DeBrusk
Hall - Krejci - Pasta
Freddy - COyle - smith
Foligno - Nosek - Steen

22-23
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BruinsGM37</b></div><div>I think this Bruins team is a contender. Ya, we lose our arguably best forward, Best defenseman, and a mid d-man for at least the first 10 games. (The expectation is Grzelcyk is ready for late October early November, and Marchand and McAvoy till around thanksgiving.) I understand people’s thoughts on this, “for 20 games the Bruins aren’t going to float by.” But let’s go to last season, we struggled until new year and never stayed in a consistent playoff spot till we hit a burst to the trade deadline. Now I understand the B’s played less games than every other team but still, I think losing those 3 for about 20 games is as even as being 1-7 games played behind a playoff team. I think the Bruins will float by and hold close to a playoff spot till those 3 are back and healthy, but do mind you, when this team is healthy, they are a force to be recon with.
Foglino: Bounce back year, I think he will step up and do well in the absence of Marchand.
Zacha: HUGE help for our left side with Marchand gone. Could play 1st line minutes I think.
Hall: Krejci is back. He Pasta and Hall will dominate like they did in that short span of 2021
DeBrusk turned it up in the second half last year, I expect that to roll on.
Smith: Will be solid depth for the B’s
McLaughlin: Should have time to prove himself this year. He proved last year.
Krejci: Here comes a beast.
Bergeron: Wants to win and will lead us there.
Lindholm: Got hurt last year during his time in Boston, he will be a MASSIVE help when needed.
Carlo: He will likely step up when needed most
Clifton: Will step up like last year
Zboril: Healthy and ready to play
Swayman: Ended last year regular season rough, he is an ELITE GOALIE and this is his year. I mean 5th place Calder vote, Solid.
This team is solid no matter what you think, my projected lines are:
Hall-Bergeron-Pasta
Zacha-Krejci-DeBrusk
Frederic-Coyle-Smith
Foglino-McLaughlin-Nosek
Lindholm-Carlo
Forbort-Clifton
Reilly-Zboril
Ullmark I do think they will split starts
Swayman
When healthy they will be great. I know they are in a stacked conference, but I don’t think Toronto will be as strong as last year, Same as Florida allowing Boston to play right with them. I know Ottawa will get close and possibly in but I don’t think Detroit is there yet. Caps lose Backstrom but get Kumper. Jackets will contend. Pens will get close but I don’t know if they will do it.
My east playoff teams,
Carolina
New York Rangers
Tampa
Florida
Ottowa
Boston
Toronto
Columbus</div></div>
Theres no way they split up Pasta and Krejci.
The lines to start most likely look like this
Hall-Krejci-Pasta
Zacha-Bergy-Debrusk
Frederic-Coyle-Smith
Foligno-Nosek-Steen
I think the D you have is correct.

At this point Sweeney cant clear enough cap for both zacha and krejci. Zacha will be here on a 1 year deal in the $3.5 mill range. Thats it.

Gryz alone is worth a second rd pick. Same with debrusk. That EDM trade is brutal for Boston. You should get a 1st rd pick+ for Gryz and Debrusk. And we shouldn't even be moving Gryz. Why do people still think you have to PAY to trade Coyle? Maybe in 2 years. He's slightly overpaid but not to the point where he's a cap dump.

Its already been reported he's signing a low base, high incentive deal. its been compared to chara a few years ago. So something like $1-$1.5 Million with the change to get into the $ million range with incentives

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jayk</b></div><div>You gotta explain your thoughts on this one bud!
This does neither of the various things that (either) must be done; sign quality UFA: s, get hold of picks, slot in youths into the line up, start a rebuild and/or finish last to get hold of a top pick!
...It just means a wasted year for the Bruins as an organisation and every player on the roster! The Jacobs family would not accept the team to be on hold / without direction for a whole season!</div></div>
Unfortunately, I can see this happening. How likely is it they land a good UFA or make a big trade? I don't think sweeney knows what he is doing, and this holding pattern is not unlikely and yes this is a bottom 10 team.

Also, another Bruins ACGM where Carlo is traded and Manson is signed. This needs to stop, it makes no sense to subtract Carlo and add Manson, just keep Carlo.
