Getzlaf needs to stay around the team IMO. it seems like he has really helped out the young guys and is a huge reason that we saw Terry and Zegras 'break' out.
He knows the franchise better than anyone and is a great leader. Even if its off ice, he needs to be coaching / advising in some sense

You didn't sign all players, but my opinion on contracts given: Guhle gets less, he's not an NHLer. Seems like a bit much for Steel but it's not horrible.
On the lineup (although it seem like you didn't pay much attention to that to begin with since it's only 17 players): Terry is a C. Silfverberg is a bottom 6 player right now and it's very unlikely he'll be on the 1st line in 2023.</div></div>
wait i also had Terry at center lol

i mean i clearly stated that this is only RFAs, reserve list and people who are under contract then. I just put all forwards in the lineup and same with defense. It wasnt as much about the lines as it was about the talent on the roster. But, how do you expect to have Zegras, Terry and McTavish all play center? I guessed Terry would be the one to not be center because he has played wing at many points. You cant possibly think the center depth with put one of Zegras, Terry and McTavish on the third line in 3 years tbh. One of them will play wing unless you wanna ruin them

lol yeah. Hard to keep track of everyone. I assumed a 2nd was reasonable but ig i could see a bit more like a first + prospect

Anaheim will probably have signed LDs Jackson LaCombe and Henry Thrun by then.
Yeah, we have a bright future. Which is why we shouldn't be trading our 2022 first away.</div></div>

I was thinking Ovi but idk how he can keep doing this. he keep proving me wrong though so...

And again, you can't have a "pure goal scorer" on Norris wing who is also a "pure goal scorer". I mean, it'd be great to have as many as possible but that's asking a lot to Formenton who is a decent playmaker but not the ideal one for "pure goal scorers"</div></div>
i had him going at 11 lolll. i really like him tbh

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xspyrit</b></div><div>Really nice roster but Norris absolutely needs a pure playmaker and you have the 2 best on the first line.
I see that Nick Paul and Connor Brown are gone too, which IMO is a mistake but this could still work out. Really dependent on Jarventie booming though.
I really don't like that 4th line though. Don't think Abramov becomes a full time NHLer. He'll have to put Dadonov like numbers in the KHL for a team to give him a NHL contract. His overall game will always be subpar. Also, Gambrell is doing ok defensively but doubt he's a player a NHL team keeps for years, most likely just a depth player until he's back in the AHL for good.
Tkachuk - Stutzle - Jarventie
Formenton - Norris - Batherson
Greig - Pinto - White
Sokolov - Kastelic - Boucher
Defense pairings and goaltending are PERFECT!
Also, why Ty Nelson? Do you think the Sens will/should draft him with a high first round pick?</div></div>
Nelson is just who I had them getting in my mock draft. And yeah I also only signed back RFAs.
Id imagine the Sens will go after a really high caliber in the next few years through trade/FA with all of your cap space, too so Norris would get a winger which will really bolster the top 6
Really easy with all of your prospects and picks to package a first + 2 prospects for a great 2nd liner
