Although, and no offense meant, I see PIT going into a rebuild in the near future, and I'm not sure anyone is gonna want to stick around for that. I could certainly be wrong, though. But they could probably recoup a ton of draft capital and prospects if they decided to start selling. So, if the plan is to rebuild, they should probably start soon. Tampa on the other hand, has a pretty weak prospect pool and no draft capital, too, but they also have a lot of youngish players that are still very good at hockey. So they could probably get away with a retool if it comes to that. It'd be nice if they could keep Stammer, but that dude could go out and get paid some big bucks if he wanted to, and I don't think TBL are the ones that are gonna do it.</div></div>
Sid won't go anywhere, and I highly doubt tanger or malkin will either. They seem pretty content to end their careers together.
Malkin maybe a wildcard, but I don't think Sid wears another sweater in the NHL, regardless of what people try to drum up. Even though they're playing as well as they are, they still wouldn't return much in a trade regardless of what pens fans want to say.
They may try and trade a few others but we will see.
