Prediction for Ottawas deadline
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Carolina don't do this AND move one of the RHD, They want to improve the forwards yes, but not at the cost of downgrading the D to that extent. Your talking about moving 2 roster D men for a 3rd liner in Dzingel and something else, I just don't see it,. Haydn would be a top 4 guy by this point if Slavin, De Haan Pesce Faulk Hamilton didn't sit ahead of him in the pecking order, look at how he played in Vancouver last night, he was lights out and he's always like this. Pesce stats wise is the best shutdown RD over the past 3 seasons, Hamilton is starting to find the net, Faulk's sacrificed some of that offence for defensive stability, which makes him much more dangerous as a 2 way D man. I don't see Carolina moving Haydn and another one while guys like Bean are still developing</div></div>
Dzingel has 20 goals already this year, had 23 last year, is on pace for 60 + points on a terrible team this year and can fly. I'd say he's more than third liner.

Sens Trade Deadline Deals
I mean to be fair Chiarelli doesn't exactly have a great track record, and supposedly once had interest in doing a Hall for Ceci swap, anyways just going off the speculation they're interested in a forward. Could remove Ceci and do Dzingel for the 1st and low tier prospect or something too.

Cap Floor Here We Come! (Melnyk's orders)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OIlers4Life</b></div><div>That is a ripoff for the sens, they could get that without the addition of Clarkson</div></div>
Yeah but Melnyk likes to give the illusion that he's spending some money, this bumpbs his cap number up while not actually having to pay any of the money owed to Clarkson.

Karlsson to Dallas
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JeffW</b></div><div>ROR didnt publically state he wasnt going back to buffalo, Karlsson isn't returning to Ottawa next year and publically asked for a trade and turned down ottawas extension. Dallas is close to getting Karlsson for their 1st, heiskenan and shore, which is barely anything</div></div>
Umm no there's been no report of him asking for a trade, in fact he said a few times he wished to remain in Ottawa but would not sign for anything less than what he was worth.

Ottawa side of Big 3 Team Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jacketsman61</b></div><div>Actually the players coming back for Ottawa make sense. Considering the dumpster fire Ottawa is right now, they are bringing in high character guys. Plus, I don’t think you give enough credit guys like Jenner and Murray who have shown glimpses of being the players that can be. Ottawa needs some decent talent in order to sell tickets. Niskanen may be a player moving towards the backend of his career but is very good player still and is not bogged down with a bad contract. He gives them time to develop prospects who will be more helpful when it is time to contend.</div></div>
Your sending the two of the three top Sens players out for no high end talent coming back, that's not close to good enough. Like the other poster said the players you've included are 2nd/3rd pairing d men and 3rd line forwards with a couple picks that won't be in the top 10. Erik Karlsson is a generational talent and Matt Duchene is a top 30 forward in the league.

Karlsson through the Brassard loophole
ROFL this is a garbage proposal, the Sens are not including Stone in any Karlsson trade and if they did the return would sky rocket.

Karlsson+Ryan deadline trade
Don't see the Sens taking a big contract back in any Karlsson deal, one of the main reasons they're trading him is they don't want to spend big money on him (which is ridiculous, but c'est la vie with a broke ass joke of an owner). If a trade with Nashville were to happen I think it would be without Ryan, and a player like Ellis and prospect like Tolvanen would be involved in the package coming back.
