I'd certainly trade 6 more years of Couturier for free, let alone get Ullmark

Fair enough, IIRC there was some rumors about him going into the TDL. I think he's been great on the Flyers, but with the team's state of rebuilding, I wouldn't be opposed to moving him to clear some cap.

Always liked Turcotte's game since his DY. If he can stay healthy, I can see him fitting into what Jones/Briere/Torts like in a player. Also helps that the Flyers need centers and feel this cost is relatively low to acquire.

I thought about making the 2026 2nd a 1st instead but figured too many Oilers fans would scoff at the offer. I'd imagine DB can get at least a 1st for Laughton, would probably cost an extra 2nd or 3rd to pry him from the Flyers but I'm a huge fan of Holloway. Campbell they can eat until Michkov comes over and then either buy him out or warehouse it on the books.

I'd be surprised if Hanifin can't get at least 7M if he hits FA this year -- number might come in slightly lower if he stays with Vegas due to their tax advantage. Lindholm is going to be able to ask for term in any deal given how abysmal the center market is this year.
As for the trade, I just don't see the value in moving those drafts picks for players that aren't superstars. Flyers have maybe one dynamic player on offense that can take over a game (Tippett) and zero on defense. Not good timing to cash in the chips with this team.

From the Flyers timeline, it makes more sense to have an 18 year old versus a 24 year old with no long-term or cap hit certainty. Even if that pick doesn't pan out, the Flyers have enough RHD that they don't need to be trading for Lilegren.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Riddick19</b></div><div>It would basically work out that you get Chychrun who is way better than Drysdale.... At least in the here and now for sure. Chychrun will bring back a 1st and top prospect from someone... It would be a solid package for a guy like Chychrun.</div></div>
Considering Noah Hanifin just got traded for a 1st and 3rd (as a rental with maximum retained salary), I can't imagine an extra 50 games of Chychrun is worth a top prospect. If the Flyers are going to make a move on Chychrun it would probably be COL 1st + 3rd + Zamula but even then, I don't see PHI moving 1st round picks for pending UFAs.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bluspy88</b></div><div>Whether or not we agree on this price, I think its pretty clear that the Flyers would want more than that to move Laughton: otherwise, he'd be gone already.</div></div>
Agreed. I'd have to imagine they'd want at least a 1st rounder for him. If teams / fans think that is unfair or an unreasonable ask, fair enough, but they aren't going to move him for mid round picks.

Extremely favorable market for Walker, I also think his contract will be a minimum of 4x4 given what has been put out there.

is this enough for walker
I think the value is relatively fair, but I feel the Flyers would prefer either a center/defense prospect over an already-crowded winger group. I can see this being of interest if the plan is for them to trade Laughton and buyout Atkinson during the offseason as that would create two openings for Robertson and Brink.

Fair enough, like him since his DY and I'd imagine the Flyers FO would like his style of play too. Kinda similar value to the Newhook trade.

Not sure PHI would be willing to take on extra cap to swap going from pick #33-37 to #26-32. Seeler can probably get a 3rd, if not more but I ultimately think the Flyers keep him and sign him to an extension.

Considering Sean Monahan just got a 1st round pick and is a pending UFA, I think the ask for a 1st rounder for Laughton is a fair price. I also think retaining down to 1.5M for 2 more years would add value to his trade price.

In an already crowded middle-six, he either has to distinguish himself as a top six forward, otherwise he's not going to be utilized enough to make the trade worth it. Doesn't make sense to move a center for a winger given how scarce available centers are on relatively cheap deals.

Doesn't really make sense for the Flyers to retain on a player and then not really get a lot of futures for him. Risto has played well with the team, if they are selling, they are selling high.

If the Flyers are moving on from Konecny, they will probably want something above the price range of Lindholm, considering he isn't a rental and the Flyers don't really need to move on from him.

ABB and Fleruy aren't really useful for the Flyers considering they are 26 and 27 years old. Would rather have picks over depth players like them, feel like they can get either a 1st or 2nd + prospect.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SHOWTIME_TTV</b></div><div>In the 5 games that Campbell played this season he had a better save% than Skinner had during the same stretch. It was the team.</div></div>
0.888 SV% in 36 games in 2022-23 and even worse in his first 5 games. Regardless of how poorly EDM was playing, he's contract is an albatross and wouldn't be ahead of Ersson in the depth chart. If EDM wants to move on from him, draft picks will have to be attached for PHI to be interested.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SHOWTIME_TTV</b></div><div>The only thing stopping Campbell from being on the Oilers right now is the streak and his cap hit. He's been 0.931 since Dec. 30th. There's no reason that teams shouldn't be giving him a look.
Is Ellis even insured?</div></div>
5M x 4 years for a 32 year old goaltender putting up sub .900 SV% at the NHL level isn't really enticing. I'm fairly certain Ellis' contract is insured per multiple articles. Even then, Hilferty/Briere/Jones/Torts won't want to take on his contract without compensation coming back, outside of the real 2.9M in savings.
