My guess is that he asks for a trade after being jerked around all year. Can't see him wanting to stay.

I would be happy with that trade for the Wings. Would like to see a contract like maata or holl shipped back though.

That's a massive overpay for Norris. Wings would have to unload copps deal to make it happen too. Copp, berggren and a 2nd I'd be ok with but I still think his contact isn't worth touching at this point.

It crossed my mind for a minute but that contract won't work. Too much money and way too much term. If ottawa retained 2 million then sure wings would be interested.

4 million is a lot of money for a guy who's been playing mostly 4th line minutes. Would rather see that money spent elsewhere to be honest. Don't hate the player juat ready to move on from him.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SharkTank</b></div><div>Panthers aren't trading Lundell without a 1st being included.</div></div>
Florida seems like a team that would rather have nhl ready players then picks. A 1st round pick won't see the ice for 3-5 years for them where the players could step in right away. I'm not super familiar with Lundells game but stat wise him and veleno don't appear too different this year. Figured berggren and a 2nd would make up that difference.

Push for Playoffs
Signing seider and Raymond to bridge deals is a mistake imo. This team isn't competing for a cup anytime soon and when they are ready seider will be asking for 10m plus and Raymond probably over 9. Extend long term now if possible.
Good work on the trade though. I'd be happy with all of them from a wings perspective which likely means none of them are fair.

That's way too much money for pesce. I wouldn't offer him anymore then a 5x5. Roy is the preferred target imo. I honestly think detroit is better off grabbing a guy on a 1 or 2 year deal then locking up another aging free agent.

Fair enough, I was banking on his production improving with playing an extra 5-6 minutes a night as the 2nd line center. Let him play with Raymond and he could be a 50-60 point guy.

Copp and JK have very similar offensive output over the past few years with copp also being better on the d side of things. Saves the canes a million in cap for a similar player with way less term. Wings throw in a cheap middle six winger and 2nd for some potential and can give him top 6 minutes.

Could also opt to bridge Jarvis instead of signing him long term. They can keep everyone while retaining Kotkaniemi, and it's why no Canes fan wants to see him go.</div></div>

Raymond is significantly better then Debrincat. And yzerman would be paying more in the short term for Raymond with the hope he turns into a 80-90 point guy down the road.

Total money is the same between the 2, kept it 8 each just to save time. Also Mo hasn't been great lately and Raymond has been carrying the team. Wouldn't surprise me if they get Similar deals.

He was an early 2nd from a few years ago and is playing his first year in north America. He's a big kid, 6 4, great skater but the offensive side of his game needs work. Is projected to he a 3/4 guy. Would be a great fit for an offensive guy like Drysdale. Think edvinsson with less offense.

Wings have plenty of LD prospects. Maybe wallinder, and someone like veleno or berggren. Or if they want a prospect they could go with mazur.

Fix the defense
I would personally rather buyout Holl then give up any asset to a team to take him. His buyout isn't that expensive. I would also like to keep Maatta, he's an excellent 6/7 defenseman. Andersson is definitely an ideal trade candidate but that 3rd would need to be a 1st to get it done. A deal around Berggren, Johansson and a 1st likely gets done if Calgary wants to move him.
