<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ryangatto_412</b></div><div>Totally agree I am just throwing the kessel trade as what would be somewhat fair. I wouldnt mind Pittsburgh retaining cap in a Kessel deal if it means we could get pick #5 crouse or Dvorak and maybe even someone like demers. I mean Edmonton needs D and Maatta is a perfect starting point for a deal with them. He is still young and has a lot of potential just needs to work on his speed. Maybe add a star prospect and that deal becomes much more of a realistic trade. Sheary would be good maybe on like a Edmonton or a team like that because of the star C he would play with. I think maybe kessel could end up on a team with a top 10 pick that would come in return for him. Teams that would make sense are teams like edmonton, arizona, or someone like that. I would like to hear what you think a fair kessel trade is because I like hearing what other people think.</div></div>

I am most familiar with Buffalo. 2019 or 2020 1st, Scandella or McCabe (Bogosian is a sabre top 2 when he is healthy and Botterill could retain), then I need to send a roster player, the only one that fits would be Reinhart, then the pick would need to be 2019 2nd. McCabe would be a best choice among the three due to his salary, and he is very good, Reinhart and 2019 2nd. Buffalo gets a really good RW, Rutherford gets a 2nd pairing defenseman and a pick. I think that is actually more than Pittsburgh gave up to get him. This is just my opinion, I would imagine any other Sabre fan would say "We do not want Kessel". Maybe JR could hold back some of the salary?
