And left handed. We've got 5 already. Tuch isn't gonna be available for anything reasonable, and this is just stuff you've got lying around.

For kulich alone, a top 10 pick is fine, if we were looking for futures. That's kinda the point, after 13 years of missing the playoffs, trading for straight futures isn't gonna fly. Tuch as a power forward that plays both ways, on a cheap contract, he's not on the table.

Philly trade is definitely interesting. Probably have to be the Sabres 24 first though.

That's probably the ask. I'd have to think about it, I do believe that we are missing a physical element, but holy hell that's a lot. At that point is it cheaper to try to move up and draft lindstrom in this draft.

I bet the ask on Crouse is about the same as the ask on Keller. Probably 3 high end pieces.

I think the last 20 games are gonna set up the summer. If they finish the year strong, I'm sure the "injuries, growing pains, learning new system, did I mention injuries-" speech is already typed out and ready to go. If they finish the year flailing, adams probably does have to make changes. I'm not foolish enough to think there's any real accountability, it just seems to be whatever they can get away with. I'm actually shocked at how many people buy what they are selling.

They need a few Bangers who can Work the boards and go to the Net. Get a few guys not afraid to throw there weight and decent hands(Crouse, Trenin) and let them clean up in front. Put Crouse in front on our PP and watch how many rebounds he scoops. Even if they made the playoffs, they are not built for it.</div></div>
Dammit. Beat me to it. Jinx.
Lol, no, they aren't remotely built for the playoffs lmfao.

Where to go now
My take- the Sabres played pond hockey, high event hockey last year, scoring very well off the rush, and leaving their goalies hung out to dry with high danger chances against. Most coaches hate this kind of hockey, granato allowed this to build confidence for his young offensive players. This year, especially after the first of the year, the Sabres have settled into a defensive system, not getting the same rush chances, and giving upl a chance to play with confidence. Unfortunately the Sabres frequently aren't getting rush chances and are relying on scoring 5v5 with the other team already set up, and the Sabres don't have enough guys going to the net, screening the goalie and redirecting shots/setting up for rebounds. Occasionally they do go to the net, but as a whole, they are a soft group that gravitates to the perimeter. The pp was impressive last year, with Thompson setting up in the ovechkin office, but teams and goalies have caught on, and the Sabres have done a poor job adjusting, still forcing the puck to Thompson. Thompson, tuch, and cozens have all missed time with injuries, and I think all came back well before they were ready. They need to get healthy, they need to fix the pp, and personally I think they need a few more guys willing to go to the ugly areas, but my guess, because it's the path of least resistance, is the young, high end prospects will graduate to the big club, and we will see more of the same. If we lose rush chances, somebody has to competently go to the net. Assistant coach Matt Ellis has been removed from his pp duties, granato took over, we will see if the coach has some answers over the last 20 games.

Plus, zub would not be a target by adams- what would we even do with a physical defensive d, and a right handed one at that. It's probably never crossed his mind. Left handed puck movers, that's where the smart money goes.

Disagree. And he was negotiating against himself, Skinner wanted to play here or toronto, and toronto couldn't afford him if they wanted to. One dimensional wingers don't get 9 million, it was probably the worst contract in the league before the ink dried.

Adams Last Chance
I don't see Jenner being moved, plus you are moving jokiharju to one of the few teams that isn't looking for a decent right shot d. As for Greenway, he is defensively responsible and occasionally throws his weight around, two things we need more of, if the Sabres had any interest in moving him, I would think the trade deadline makes a lot more sense, and a playoff team would likely pay considerably more than this.

I like the signings and the Arizona trade. I figure we've got Skinner for one more year at least, pegula has to be behind giving him that asinine contract, I don't see him paying to get rid of it. Plus, his buyout is better after next season.

I agree to a point. As it stands now, absolutely. If buchnevich agreed to a contract extension, I'd at least wanna know the number. To be fair, I'm not a huge fan of throwing money at wingers (or goalies, spend money on centers and defense first).
