<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>brendanchisholm98</b></div><div><i><div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>zaia81</b></div><div><i>leafs dont need marcus foligno and that is an overpayment and the ducks aren't trading a good rhd prospect for two fringe NHLers who are no more than 6th dmen on average NHL defenses. Ducks already have guys like Stoner and Holzer...Polak and Hunwick might barley be upgrades over those guys at most so there is no sense for that deal to be made by the ducks. If you wanna get Montour for nothing then that would require the team acquiring him to take on Bieksa or Stoner imo</i></div></div> Anh will add to their depth on d they have 3 injurys on d right now so I do think Anh will have interest in Hundwick and Polak. The Leafs do need Marcus foligno in the worst way. He can skate hit and he's heavy below the goal line and can handle things along side Martin. Check out Edmonton they are a mix of fast and size</i></div></div> I'm not gunna sit there and argue with you on foligno the reason you wanna bring him in varies on team philosophy. I just think there's another way the leafs can get that type of player without giving away a prospect and a second along with Sosh, imo that's an overpayment to what Foligno brings to the table. And ok even if Anaheim has those injuries on d theres potential theyre back before playoffs and even if theyre not they dont need to give away montour to get depth dmen....they could trade later round picks to get guys like Hunwick, depth dmen go for 4th-7th round picks near the deadline. Don't be fooled by what the leafs got for polak and spaling last year that was an outlier
