<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ArakinSkywalker</b></div><div>i don't mind them either, hopefully frost could build into that 2C. With that being said and his age into account, does that make ritchie available for trade?
The only other thing is i'd hate to trade for kahnonen and then see him walk right after. I really don't see us resigning geo since his price tag will go up. If we are in talks for kahnonen i'd be asking to speak with him about how much his next cotranct would be. I'd hope it would be around the same since his numbers haven't went up but i think in our system he'd basically be another geo. So it would all be on the resigning amount for me haha because that would saolve the goalie problem for another 2/3 years</div></div>

Imo Ritchie is the one untouchable in the prospect pool draft picks. I’d rather trade 2 1st rd picks than include Ritchie in a trade. The guy was considered a top 10 prospect before his draft seasons started, he played it with a hurt shoulder that needed surgery and his play lagged because of it. He is back healthy and having a monster d+1 year which if your the Avs is exactly what you wanted to see when you picked him. If you have a guy that can be a legit middle 6 C for you on an elc you don’t ever give that up if your the Avs. The best part of his game is that he had a 200ft two way game before and now healthy he has upped his offensive output. But then again I’m a total sucker for center prospects especially given how hard it is to find one, and I was convinced Newhook was going to be the answer at 2C.
