Rebuild the 2011 team
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dekes</b></div><div>One thing you guys forgets is it’s Players choice aswell, canada has much higher taxes. Joshua would make 337k more per season in Boston and lindholm 797k per season.
That adds up over time of the contract. 1 mill for Joshua and basically 4 mill for lindholm.
Some players also just don’t like living in Canada the travel is usually farther and I feel the US just has more to offer. Very few cities in Canada can compare to the big cities of the US. Vancouver/ Toronto and Montreal are about the only ones</div></div>
There's away around losing that much tax as an athlete. Players are also paid in usd which goes further here than CAD. No to mention they'd easily make it up in
endorsements here. Or we can give them an extra year, a guy also may not want a new situation. Vancouver is a team that's just starting their window, both of them have built friendships here and fit well in the system going to a new you risk not having that same chemistry as you did with your last team or not having the coach trust you as much you did before. Usually players leave their past teams for 4 reasons, 1. Contract demands not met (wouldn't be an issue in this case) 2. Teams future or present isn't looking promising (I'd argue that Vancouver has a better future) 3. Want to live in a better city. Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world that won't be an issue here. Or number 4 both would like to move home, neither guy Is from the Boston so that won't be an issue here either

According to Rick Dhaliwal Vancouver had never had interest in Risto. Don't see that changing especially if the price is a 1st

Another Canes Trade
Canucks pass. I don't think there would be that much interest in taking on KK. His defensive metrics have dipped this year and has been a healthy scratch a few times already. not looking promising. if we are going to make a risk on a buy low candidate like this i much rather us spend the extra money on Lindholm assuming he comes in at the 50-56 million range.

If Clayton Keller doesnt want to go to Utah what would a trade look like
Canucks would be interested for sure probably be willing to Move a 1st, Lekkerimäki and Mickeyehev for him. If the price was more than that I'd think Vancouver would be out

Crazy trades
Canucks pass there really isn't any value here for us Hoglander has been abouslety fantastic for us scoring 20+ goals this year 5on5 with little to no Powerplay time he's also still really young and is only going to get better. We'd have interest in a retained Smith but not at the cost at giving up Hoglander. This deal doesn't help us now or in the future

hronek
I don't think there would be a deal to be had here to be honest. Montreal really doesn't have anything of quality that is NHL ready and of the quality prospects they do have it's not going to be of much interest to Vancouver as we aren't looking for futures. Ultimately moving Hronek leaves a huge hole in Vancouvers Dcore and does not make sense to him unless there is an offer we cannot say no to available

a bath for hronek
Canucks pass. Batherson is a great player no question but the appetite isn't big enough to move Mikheyev if means losing Hronek. Moving Hronek means we'd only have Juulsen as our only RHD with team control. Moving Hronek leaves to big of a hole on our Defense
