I just dont know if those assets carry any value to VAN.
Abruezze is playing well, but chances of him being a top 9 forward in the NHL are still slim, Robertson has had another forgetable year (no production in NHL, injuries, small) and Kerfoot as an expiring UFA, having a meh year after last season really dont offer much to VAN, so its really a late in the round 1st TWO drafts away and a late in the round 3rd in 2023.
VAN might accept that for Horvat, unlikely at best, but no way do you get both players for VAN

Totally agree 100%
Strongly rumoured they will resign him as he & Petey are golden together. Question is cost.

He had 15 bad games behind one of, if not the worst, defense in the league. The previous two years he was elite and a top 5 goalie. 15 games doesn’t change that

Sorry but no way does Vancouver accept that mess, Quality for quality not quantity for quality.
And Rick Dhaliwal doesn't spread hearsay he's one of the more credible insiders Vancouver has. Even both Khan and HSJ said that Detroit is heavily pursuing Horvat as well
It will be probably something like Michael Rasmussen/Joe Veleno+Filip Zadina+William Wallinder+2024 1st round pick+2023 2nd round pick for Bo Horvat extended at 8 x $8,500,000.

I think the whole goal was no conventional superstars like Makar, McDavid, Matthews, etc.. Roberston, Thompson, and Petey are my three favourite underrated players.

You could do Horvat for Wright 1 for 1 and it'd still be a massive overpayment for Seattle. I hope it happens though

The blue line is of course better but the forward group is quite a bit worse here. Don’t see the Canucks getting many more wins out of this a quad than the current one.

Canucks got a third round pick for a worse, and 4 times more expensive player in Travis Hamonic last season.

If duds like Jeremy Lauzon can get a second, I don't see why Schenn cant

Meant either a 2nd alone or a 3rd + later round pick, not a 2nd + 3rd
