It may not be a "decline". I am firmly believing its Murphy's Law, and not an early age decline

a four year contract who lead him right in free agency. just think it would be a three year or five or six year deal.

Yeah McDonald and a late pick would probably get you holden don't need to give away a 50p shutdown center for him</div></div>
Rangers would be more interested in Berglund though, the G pipeline is already pretty stacked. I'd actually add a pick if Berglund is available, especially w/ retention

I like these trades but the Vancouver one wouldn't happen. Baertschi would have hit 20 goals. Boeser is their future goal scorer he wouldn't be traded. Hutton is a young top 4 plus a high first is too much for Varly who is injury prone and hasn't been the same since 2013 plus Comeau. I think maybe Varly might be able to get either Hutton or Baertschi but not much more. I'd say Hutton and a 2018 4th for both or Baertschi+ a 2018 5th

1 Well, Anderson as second goalie for 4.2 millions is too high, STL have actually 3 millions under cap hit. And they have Carter Hutton as second goal 30 games last season for 1.125 million.
2 If Boucher really hate Hoffman, I understand this trade.
(If he want Plekanec, I give him for Hoffman any time). :rockon
3 I have no doubt than Turris could be second center at NSH, but I don't think Poile need him so much.
Ekholm is sign for 5 other years. Turris terminate his contract this year, and certainly demand 7 millions for the next contract.

Nobody would trade much of anything for Seabrook, nevermind two very solid assets. His contract is killer.

Kane is a good player, but even if he was as good as many think he is (i don't think he is) that would be too much if you ask me. That involves 2 #1 d-men and a 1st liner who could be considered a future superstar. Seabrook is good but he's getting older and isn't much better than Tanev. Also that VAN 1st is really good, so i don't see Vancouver doing this deal.

Good job, solid trade both ways. Gets Nuge away from strictly taking on the heavy def minutes and playing more power play time where he is a wizard, points will come back when he dosent have to think def all game long. Benning makes that def so strong.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>uncleroddy</b></div><div>your evaluation is not shared by me....he is much too timid and besides I like my top 6 better without him....don't discount draft picks...they have an integral role in team building and success plus we do not lose Raanta he is still here.....I mean if he is that good trade Halak at the deadline for a bag of used jocks for all that it matters but if Raanta does NOT come as advertised you have a starter and a year to plan your next move ....that is pretty much my thoughts on the situation
thanx for opinion without attitude .... no need to be called a tool just because you disagree with someone</div></div>The Coyotes have already stocked enough draft picks. Their organizational depth chart is chock-full of players that were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-round picks. Now we get to see how these young players pan out.
And, sure, we probably don't see eye-to-eye on Duclair, and I doubt I'm going to convince you otherwise. But at no point did I make an ad hominem attack against you. Where, at any point, did I specifically call you a "tool"? I did not. I made arguments against the idea of trading Duclair for Halák. I never directly called you stupid for coming up with the idea, so don't throw around wild accusations like that without hard evidence.
