<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Userunknown</b></div><div>Lol. Ekholm is not more valuable than Muzzin. About the same with a slight edge to Muzzin. Debrusk while he has struggled since year 2 still has 22g and 40 points in 86 games while struggling. The last 2 years. Sorry but an established 20+ Goal score under 25 has more value than mediocre prospects with risk to become nothing.</div></div>
ekholm is just as good of an offensive player as muzzin, especially since he has never been able to consistently be on a functioning PP. He is also by far better defensively. plus on a better contract. Muzzin was in no way more valuable.

You are way off</div></div>
beecher was already almost a second round pick, and has had a disappointing, D1 season. hes not an elite prospect. Debrusk is a middle six forward with one good season. hes not worth anywhere near what you think. this deal is a 1st, middle six player, and one B prospect. Not close to the muzzin deal, and ekholm is an even more valuable player than muzzin

Debrusk/Urho or Zboril. Or Debrusk/pick.</div></div>
sorry what? debrusk is a 24 yo career middle six forward. If anything boston needs to add more. John beecher is worth a mid to early second at this point. Hes by no means an A tier prospect. Boston needs to add

A. Im an ottawa fan
B. Forsbergs on a team thats been almost as bad this year, and is doing miles better than Larkin

Poehling has little to no value to Detroit and Guhle hasn't proven a thing yet he's no better then either Raymond or Berggren. if anyone is overrating here it's Montreal not Detroit.</div></div>
Guhle has proven enough to be a first rounder. Two first rounders is not a bad offer for larkin.

I agree he's started slow this season being named team Captain and he's pressing to hard. Bottom line is this deal isn't good for Detroit like i said Weal and Evans are hot trash Poehling is meh at best and Guhle is no better then Berggren or Raymond. This trade makes Detroit worse not better Larkin is a hometown kid just named Captain he's go absolutely nowhere and not for this crap we can get far more for Larkin then this joke of a package that's for sure.</div></div>
bud you are asking for more than Forsberg is going to get as a return. You are seriously overrating larkin

If they do they aren't giving up an arm and a leg.
It's not so much the player but a bad situation. He's 31 next year, then he's gonna want a new contract. Which most likely is gonna be an awful deal for whoever bites. It will be a high dollar deal, with term on a guy who is already 32. That has bad contract written all over it.</div></div>
Hes a top 2 dman making 3.5 mill. hes going to get a lot of offers

Bad contract swap
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>This isn't just an exchange of bad contracts -- it's an exchange of underproductive players. In outline, it's a really good idea for both teams.
However, Johansen's AAV is $8 million and Skinner's is $9 million. Therefore, the $1 million retention is merely keeping Nashville in the same economic position that they were without the trade for the next 5 years. The problem is that the Preds will be on the hook for Skinner for two more years -- and if you think that he is unproductive now, imagine how that's going to pan out 6 years from now. So I think that Buffalo would have to add significantly to persuade Nashville to accept this burden for the last two years.</div></div>
yeah but johansen is still a solid 2 C. Jeff skinner is barely an NHL player at this point

The issue they have isn’t Tkachuk, it’s a flawed roster and a coach that’s in-over his head. If they haven’t been so bad that meeting they had wouldn’t even be mentioned. It’s worth noting they’ve had those meetings with him before and nothing was mentioned because the team was doin well</div></div>
Im not going to claim to know much about CGYs media, all i know is i trust what Haliey reports ever since her time in ottawa. If this is the case then its okay, i just made this as a fun idea when i heard her talk about it.
