Only thing that maybe gets flyers to consider is Slafkovsky.

They say that but wouldn't move Laughton for a high 1st. I personally think Tippett is pretty near untouchable right now he could be a 30-40 goal scorer for years to come.

Trade with Phi
As a flyers fan, would love this trade. Nylander is a better player than TK, and the other pieces are equals on better less term contracts. Anything to get out from Sanheims 8 years, I don't think this would ever happen.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RazWild</b></div><div>TK is worth a lot. No doubt. I put him under the same tier umbrella and value as Fiala.
But he's not worth Rossi. Neither is Frost for that matter. Adding them together doesn't change that.
And for the record. Dewar was among the league leaders for short handed goals this past season and is a stud on the PK. Milne has solid middle-six potential as a power forward. Walker is a underrated stud dynamically. And Zuccarello has proven he's still an elite passer given his chemistry with Kaprizov.
I'm not saying they're all a fit. But they're hardly spare parts.</div></div>
Zuc is a great player but he’s 35 and doesn’t fit what the flyers are trying to do he also probably won’t waive his NTC to go to a rebuilding team, the flyers are weak at center they can’t afford to trade frost without a good center prospect coming back. TK is our best asset, still young enough to fit here and Torts loves him, he’s on a reasonable contract and likely won’t be traded unless the return blows Danny away.

You aren’t getting Tk and frost without Rossi in the deal.

Ant Sanfillipo said on a radio show last night that this is the prospect the flyers will be getting back. I am just going off that. Sounds like the deal will happen before July 1st or not at all depending on hold up from the league.

Blockbuster Trade with Philly
As a flyers fan I accept in a second. We don't know what Coots is anymore, hasn't played since December 2021. Hayes is on his way out anyway, but getting out of 7 years of Coots contract is a blessing at this point.

From what we are hearing in Philly locally from a couple really connected guys to the team they are really extremely hesitant on trading TK, even more so than Carter Hart so if he is moved its probably going to be alone in a deal that really blows them away. I personally don't think he's moved, Torts and Jones both made recent comments that they love his style and almost seems like they want to groom him to be the next captain.

Reclamation City
I don't think Dallas does that deal, from what I heard Lundqvist played pretty well after being dealt from the rangers. TDA isn't going to be with much more than picks at the trade deadline. He is still a useful pp guy but can be a liability at times in his own zone and needs to be paired with a higher end LHD to really keep him in check.

No way in hell the flyers trade Cutter in a deal like that for a late round pick and Marner. Murray isn't needed. None of those players will help with the rebuild for the flyers.

Pipe Dream - Matthews Karlsson Bedard
I am a flyers fan and that doesn't get Matthews, doesn't even come close, if he was ever dealt you are talking something like TK, Farabee, Foerester and multiple first round picks, think the Thachuk trade + more assets. Also close to 0% chance he signs as a FA in Philly. He will go to LA or Arizona before any other team.

Need a Top 3 Pick
At this point flyers can only pick 1-2 if they are able to move up by complete luck in the lottery. No chance at 3rd pick, they will either pick top 2 by luck, or pick 7th-8th.

Small moves
I think these are actually the type of players they target in FA, maybe not Schenn and Dumba, but the others make perfect sense for what they need. Unfortunately this still doesn't put them anywhere close to being a playoff team without a couple of good drafts.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ARMCHAIRGMOFTHEYEAR</b></div><div>I think it's unlikely Cam Atkinson get's bought out. We arent gonna spend to the cap, and he's valuble to have as a leader for the younger kids. He's also hopefully still a good player, if he can maintain some sort of scoring he might be a trade piece down the road.
I wouldnt deal Laughton unless a team is paying a high price, once again he provides leadership.
Philly should target a 23' First if they're gonna trade Konecny</div></div>
I don't disagree with you on Atkinson, I just think in a rebuild why do you want a 33 year old player in your top 6 who might actually make the team better now but won't be around when your ready to contend. I guess on the flip side, if he comes back healthy he might have value at the deadline. I actually don't want them to trade TK at all, I just get the argument for trading him, so I decided to build a deal, I think if you plan on moving Provy and TK this offseason they could potentially be packaged to return a blockbuster type return.

A GMs nightmare
I can tell you don't watch the flyers at all. Fire torts is the last thing they should be doing. Fedotov is stuck in Siberia and not even playing, he won't be signed. Flyers aren't trading Hart for that and they will retain Half on Hayes and get a better return. TDA is worth more at the deadline half retained next year, he's only got a year left.

Totally get it, have a feeling the flyers would retain 2-3 mil or take back a contract.

Honestly as a flyers fan who has watched Hayes the past couple of years the hate is overblown. At the time of his contract the center market was bone dry, he was essentially the best option, he probably should have been paid around 5 mil per as 7 mil is steep, but with the cap going up I don't even have an issue keeping him. He's been one of our best players offensively and pretty consistent. He is very slow and not physical for his size thats his big downfall, but finds a way to slow the game down and make good plays, his shot is good, and he has a solid finish when he gets the chance. If you put him on a line with a play maker he will score. He is JVR light version in JVRs prime.
