Gudbranson is one of the worst dmen in the league.</div></div>
you obviously have not watched gudbranson play. he actually fit in very well with the pens when he wasn’t forced to play top minutes like he did in vancouver. only reason why i’m trading him here is because there’s no room for him with risto and tanev. saying you’d rather play the holzer, del zotto, and wideman over him is just dumb.

Wild Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Wqrrior</b></div><div>Right now? Letang is deteriorating and Spurgeon is in his prime. Spurgeon is a top 2 defenseman on any team other than San Jose. Letang still is slightly better, but the margin isn't nearly as large as it would have been 3 years ago.
Edit* I noticed you said at their best. I was talking about right now.</div></div>
Your right he’s 3 years older but the guy just had arguably his best season almost averaging a point a game. spurgeon declined from his previous year and he’s a UFA this year. i made the trade because spurgeon fits what the penguins need which is more defensive minded d who can still move the puck. i don’t think there’s an argument that letang is not clearly the better player in the past or at the moment.

I'd say the difference is voided out by the Wild taking back Johnson though. Zucker is also far better than any of the remaining assets there though. Probably worth Simon, Rust and a 2nd.</div></div>
say what you want about his turnovers and injuries but Letang is a generational talent and consistent norris candidate while spurgeon is a very average top pair defenseman

i was just trying to get thoughts on the trade. just filled in the lines and the 3rd d pair. not the best i know but it’s just as good if not better then johnson and gudbranson. and you have the cap space to make a deadline move if need be.

Pens trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Cory</b></div><div>Haha, no not a Pens fan. Just know that something needs to happen in Winnipeg. Ehlers is good, but we need another center on a good contract. I also feel like Pittsburgh is not as powerful as they once were and that first could be a top 15 pick. MAybe take the 2nd that Winnipeg sends out. Does that make it a little closer?</div></div>
from the feedback i got from the ehlers trade i made on my armchair team, he’s worth bjugstad, a first, and a good prospect. might be a lot of players but bjugstad, Schultz, Hallander, and a first for Ehlers, Perrault, and a 3rd could possibly work idk
