Bowman holds all the cards, I’d give Perlini the choice of two years at $1m or one year at $1.25m on a one way deal.

Chi Town Hawks 2020
The QO’s expire 07/15 although they can continue to negotiate. December 1st is the deadline to sign and play this season. Just one of many places I’ve seen the dates:

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BigE</b></div><div>I mean, his restricted free agency wasn't revoked by the Hawks so I think they have every intention of re-signing him. Which means he will be on the team...either at the expense of some of the players above, or because of a trade of Anisimov. I saw some posts suggesting he is the sweetener for an Anisimov trade, so I suppose both could be gone as well.</div></div>
I have no idea what his camp is looking for but his QO expires on 7/15. If they can’t agree on terms he’s really stuck, I suppose the Blackhawks would try to trade him to a team that is comfortable with what he’s looking for.

I could see AA being moved to left wing, Dach sliding into center and Shaw on the right wing.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BigE</b></div><div>Simple, he needs to play with elite players to be effective. How many players have the Penguins tried out at wing with Crosby? How many have failed? Nylander is that type of player who needs an elite player to be elite. He was severely underutilized in Buffallo, at both levels.</div></div>
It's an experiment, Saad and Toews are both heavy battlers on the boards and he's supposedly a more perimeter open ice type player with a wicked quick shot. I think it's at least worth giving it a try.

I don't expect him to stay past nine games. I expect Sikura will get the call up after that, which will bring the cap space up to about $426,206.

I'd prefer Roman Polák over Franson depending on how well he's been able to heal.

Polak/Vanek
Yes on Polak, if he's recovered and can go. Leafs used him as a #4, he'd be a good #5. Prefer Polak over Franson. Not sure on Vanek, the rap on him is he's lazy but he has put up decent numbers last couple of years.

One more tweak
I prefer Roman Polak myself, but Franson if we have to is ok. Also think Fortin will be up at some point. He'll need some conditioning in Rockford after he fully recovers. Yeah might as well waive Rozsival.

What to do with that cap space
pass on Vanek "I think he has a really good shot. He's a very good passer in close, in close quarters around the net. He's good around the net, he has a good stick. I just think he's lazy," the Eastern Conference scout said. "I don't think he has a work ethic. I wouldn't want him on my team right now."

The only thing I'd question is Campbell. I think Samuelsson is going to be establishing an entirely new D system predicted on speed and quick decision making. Not sure Campbell is what he'd be looking for.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hockeyplayer1</b></div><div><i>This shows a lack of knowledge of the Hawks prospects.
How can you have Svedberg in the lineup over Kempny and Gustafsson. Pokka hasn't played in the NHL yet but he would also likely play over Svedberg.
Tootoo and Rasmussen will be battling for spots against Hinostroza, Hartman, Kero, Schmaltz, and Motte. It is unlikely that Lundberg or Mashinter find consistent spots in the Hawks lineup this season. They may jump in once in a while.
The Hawks will probably stick with 23 man roster to maximize trade deadline space, but they will go with 14 forwards and 7 D on a 23 man roster.</i></div></div>
I agree on Kempny over Svedberg, the biggest problem with Svedberg is he'd have to clears waivers in order to be sent down. Wouldn't be surprised to see him as part of a trade package. Gustaffson and Kempny both can go back and forth to the Hogs.
I know I have Panik too low as well, but I was creating a power line Lundberg 6'0" 205, Moose 6'3" 205, and Panik 6'1" 208
Hate Mash, but for some reason Q disagrees and continues to play him. Think Motte has a real good shot at making the team, actually watched him a lot, Michigan was in my tv package. Hartman has a chance, Schmaltz I'm not sure will be ready quite yet.
Martin Lundberg is a power forward, not a big play maker, has an ok shot, scores most of his goals off rebounds/deflections. Great on the penalty kill he's my surprise player to make the team. Very gritty player kind of like Shaw.
