Depth signing that will be with the Moose and can play for the Jets in a pinch. Perfect signing.

Well at least the broadcast team doesn't have to worry for a while getting the two mixed up. He should be with the Abbotsford Canucks for a while developing to the North America professional game. Has some potential that is for sure.

LTIR doesn't count towards the cap. IR does. They leave guys on the IR just so they reach the cap floor.... loop hole EXPOSED!

(LAK/CBJ) - 1st, Quick for Gavrikov, Korpisalo
Fair deal for both sides here. Quick is a shell of his former self. Could be his farewell tour in Columbus if they can't flip him before the deadline. Going to be hard to see him get another contract this summer tbh. Would be a back up anywhere he signs for cheeeeaaaappppp on a 1 year kind of deal.

When it comes time to use the pick (1st rounder) either 2025 (as top 10 protected) or 2026 the Hawks will be laughing all the way to the bank!

The people that are bitter there team don't have him on there 4th line I guess lol

You say that until AM walks as a free agent getting paid for his RFA years with zero years of UFA years being paid for.
Enjoy the circus next off season and season will bring with the AM drama.

None of them play for you going forward and you are paying them to play for other teams or sit at home in Ryan's case. Talk about "over pay"

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Shock</b></div><div>Not true. CapFriendly has him listed on LTIR because he will go there, but technically LTIR is not active in offseason. Do the math and summarize individually players F,D,G,INJ and Weber and you will end up with $88,294,643 and that is PROJECTED CAP HIT listed on top.</div></div>
I just did the math. Hmm maybe capfriendly should have him on IR not LTIR so it's not so miss leading...
With Weber 7,857,143 cap hit goes officially on LTIR on opening day it puts them just under. Hague when he gets his contract will push them a bit over so a move is going to still have to happen somewhere.

Weber is currently on LTIR and doesn't count towards the 5 plus million they are over the cap. If he were to come off LTIR then they would be even more over the cap with his 7,857,143 salary... three guys on injured reserve and another big ticket will have to be put on LTIR or a move will have to happen quickly.
Can't put a guy on LTIR already on LTIR...

My bet is that Wagner/Clifton on opening day is sent down to the minors and has to clear waivers and gets buried. Otherwise something has to give and someone gets traded yes. Over the cap with no one going on LTIR is an issue.

Well going to be a 3rd line player for the Jets this upcoming season and is looking for a bounce back year. Looks like the brass have confidence he can perform there for the next three seasons. Kind of reminds me when they signed Perreault to that nice little contract that worked out so well for them. I like this deal in so many ways. A guy you can move around the line-up and can play on the PK unit. Nice deal Chevy!
