<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pharrow</b></div><div>Players aged 15–20 are eligible to play in the WHL, though 15-year-olds are permitted to play only five games unless their midget team's season has ended.

This is true for every single CHL league.
So any 15 year old can play.
And according to the google info he posted 1 game.... 1 game. disqualifies you.

I think that's really harsh. 15 year old kids could end up playing in the CHL 1 game and then not be able to go to college and play at 18 is absurd.
They need a rules change.</div></div>

For the first time ever starting next season a 15 year old will be playing full time in the WHL. Never has it happened before, Connor Bedard will be the very first 15 year old granted exceptional status in the WHL.

15 year olds can only play a few games and are not on the rosters. The league teams are comprises of 16-19 year olds. With the allowance of 3 20 year olds. If you use both import slots as teams are only allowed two. Great! but like my Wheaties Patera took an import spot and a 20 year old spot this season. 15 year olds are not allowed and if a player gets a small trial for the following season it's normally at the end of there junior A/AAA Bantam season so they can get accustomed to the CHL pace and level of play for the following season. As I said, Bedard playing next season will be the very first WHL 15 year playing full time and will be required to wear a cage like any other 15 year playing there 2/3 games they get any other time.
