:laugh :laugh You obviously know nothing about players value, Yeah like Yzerman is retaining 50% on Bertuzzi for 2 2nd round picks. Try a roster player/prospect and a 1st and 2nd round pick 50% retention cost you at least an additional 2nd round pick.

And yeah sorry all Canadian teams are on Semyon Varlamovs no trade list. He's not wasting his time on a team that can't even make it out of the first round.

Nils Lundqvist wants top 4 minutes, He's not getting that in Detroit with Seider and Hronek in the top 4 RD spots. Detroit passes. Plus Yzerman wants his Dmen 6'0" and up not shorter.

Joe Veleno - Plays 71 games in NHL. Has never complained once about not getting enough playing time or being demoted to the AHL. Just keeps working harder to earn his spot.

Nils Lundkvist - Plays 25 game in the NHL, only gets 4 points. Then demands top 4 roster spot when he hasn't proven to outplay Fox, Miller, Trouba or Schneider.

Which attitude would you rather have?

Joe V will be a very solid 3C in the NHL. Possibly even a solid 2C in 4-5 years time. Don't trade him for an entitled brat.

Definitely isn't a sure thing that Raymond will be better the better player. But getting those ELC years, a first that will probably be in the teens and if Kyrou is wanting 9m, then this is solid value to free yourself from cap hell.
