zboyat 2020 NHL Mock Draft
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TanSor</b></div><div>That's fair, I guess I'd just like to see what we have with Kahkonen first. Askarov is a fantastic prospect and goalies are such an inconsistent position that I suppose it doesn't hurt to have a bunch. I have Mercer ranked over Askarov on my board (which I will probably post soon) so that's why I'd take him but I'm also way higher on Mercer than most people (he's 9th on my board)</div></div>
Agreed that I would like to give Kahkonen a shot and see what he can do in a longer stint in the NHL, but I just felt it would be too hard too pass up the potential elite goaltender at #11, although Lundell was also consideration.
As you all said, Center and Goalies are their biggest need, so I would be fine either way, although it would be very, very nice if we got some lottery luck for once for a chance at Byfield/Rossi/Perfetti

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mnwild1790</b></div><div>First of all, I gotta give a shoutout to Zeke! Welcome to CapFriendly man! Been my go to guy on Twitter for a while now on Kaprizov highlights.
And I've been trying to think about this for a while. Since he's supposed to be the best goalie prospect since Price, I wouldn't mind taking Askarov...but the fact that goalies are boom or bust, and take a while to develop, scares the crap out of me. But if he is the real deal...we can cross an elite goaltender off our list and focus on Centers only.</div></div>
Thanks man, appreciate it! Finally actually made an account on here, and hopefully soon enough I won't have to be digging up Kaprizov highlights and articles and instead we'll be able to actually watch him play, the wait seems to almost over, hopefully the NHL allows him to sign for this season.

Who is the next coach of the Wild
I for one would be in favor of going back with Evason for 2020-2021, I think the team really seemed to like him, and they started to play more of an offensive and up-tempo game, which the Wild have lacked for the last few seasons. While Evason wasn't "Guerin's guy" per say, I think it would be good to maybe go out of the box a little bit and give Evason another year to show what he can do as an NHL head coach. Plus, his history with Fiala is another plus.

Thread:
What the heck is Guerin going to do about our need for a top 6 C?
As you all have been talking about, I think the most realistic way that Guerin could address their need for a top-6 center is through trade. Obviously, the top 2 candidates to be used in a trade to acquire that center are Brodin and Dumba. For me, personally, I would hang onto Brodin, and give him a contract extension when they are allowed to do so. He is just one of the absolute best defensive defenseman in the game, such a smooth skater who's positioning is so, so good. While his offensive ability will never be the greatest, he did seem to show more of a willingness to jump up into the rush and into the offensive zone than in the past, and it showed with a career high 28 points in 69 games played, and I believe he should be a 30 point top pairing D for probably the next decade.
While Dumba does have the exciting and dynamic offensive ability (kinda like Brent Burns), I just simply do not know if he is ever gonna be a huge point scorer even with his skillset. I do love his work ethic, enthusiasm, and leadership abilities, but I feel like you could maybe get more value in return for a younger right shot offensive defenseman, whether.
As for the Cirelli offer-sheet option, I have been in favor of this for a while, as Cirelli seems very much to be the kind of center who can drive play and produce offense, all while being a great playmaker and defensive player, kind of like a Mikko Koivu. Could be good on a line with Kaprizov or Fiala.
Ultimately, whenever this upcoming offseason is, I think that aside from goaltending, the center position is of utmost importance for them to improve if they want to have a better chance at competing and being a playoff teams the next couple of seasons

Eichel to Minnesota
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>reelkena</b></div><div>This actually might be one piece too much. Can we turn Boldy or the 2020 first into something lower?</div></div>
Maybe so, I would definitely start with an offer a little bit less, but in this situation, if you even wanted BUF to listen to an offer, I would think that you would have to go very big with a combo of cuurent player, good player prospect, and high picks. Not crazy about getting rid of Boldy, but I think you would need to give up a significant prospect
