Description
I think all leafs fans can agree that change will be coming, and by the sounds of it, everyone is up for trades except 88 and 34. I feel like the Keller/marner trade could be a realistic trade which benefits both teams. Clearing up cap space by trading Tavares (for nothing) allows them to sign a proven winner and leader (Stamkos), and finally spending some $ on D. Not much available in FA goalie wise so whoever plays well gets the job.

I don't think the Hawks are interested in saving the Leafs from three years of Jarnkrok. Not without Toronto sweetening the deal with picks

Still less than zero interest in Kampf here for free, let alone giving up a perfectly fine roleplayer in Olivier in the process.

Why are Leaf fans completely delusional on Marner's and Tavares's value in their situation? You think either are going to waive for these non playoff teams? You think teams are going to pay that much for 1 year rental that can just walk to free agency? There's no possible way Keller++ is leaving Utah for Marner, and there's no way SJ is paying picks that they need in a rebuild. Shanny's return is going to be horrible if he forces trades for these players
