I agree. Really don't understand all of the Joseph hate all of the sudden.

Guy was so good at the start of the year when he was slotted properly on the 3rd line and is more defensively responsible than anyone up front. Not to mention he's a great locker room guy and helps sell tickets to the Gatineau Frenchies which we know Andlauer cares about.

PIT doesn't need to trade EK.
I'm not against them moving him if the return is right, but they are under no pressure to do so.
If they do move him, It's going to cost at least a 1st. They aren't moving him for a 2nd a cap dump, and a cap headache because they are 8 mil per and always on LTIR.
Especially when that guy has less than 40 points in 3 of the last 4 years. No one wants to have to build their cap around that.

To be honest, OTT might be better off convincing him to retire and be perm LTIR. He got his money, he can stop being a constant issue on OTT cap.
Constantly having to build a team around, if he comes back for those 40 games every year, just isn't worth the head ache. OTT can use that cap better.
