Will be one of the most underrated dmen for the next couple of years. Great signing.

End of Season Player Grades
Fair assessment only one that I disagree with is Megna. Dude was a waiver claim and expected to play murphys role in his stead. Going from 7th d/ahl tweener to the #4 is a lot to ask of someone and he did fine in that role. F is too harsh but C/D would be better imo.

Post 2025 Season SJS Rebuild
Sturm has 13 points, nobody is paying a second for an overpaid fourth liner.
Signing and trading a player makes no sense, the other team would have just signed Kubalik without giving up assets. He's also not worth a 2nd.
Iafallo doesnt cost a first to dump.

Probably nitpicky but I think the Hawks would want slightly more for megna. He might be a waiver wire claim but hes been a super solid and consistent presence, and pairs great with korchinksi playing top 4 minutes. Not a first round pick but maybe a third? fourth?

oof mixed them up. Within the last 2 years Blais posted on his sisters IG account saying she was sexy in french. Thats the direct translation, but apparently its a french-canadian way of saying that she looked good, at least that was what french canadians were saying online. So for about a week there were a bunch of jokes about Blais being from the deep south, roll tide, etc.

Yes to all rfas, Vlasic needs to be signed 8X5. No to all the UFAs. Sanford = Soft, Blais = sister lover, Macdermid = cup denter, Tinordi < Megna. Yes to Celebrini!

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SGB88</b></div><div>Lol, that's what happens when you put a bottom winger on pp1. Teams can see that.
Among forwards in the NHL with at least 100mins, he's 140th in points per 60 at 5v5. Also known as below-the-average scoring of a bottom-line forward.
I way rather have Beau, than Perry. The only reason to even consider that trade straight up for the Canucks if they need space.
Chicago overpaid Perry to convince him to give up competing for a cup and play with Bedard. 50% retention is just to get him to a neutral value at best.
There's a reason he signed with Montreal 3 years ago for 850k. He probably took a discount to play with Tampa for the last 2 years at 1m per year, but it wasn't more than a 50% discount.</div></div>
lol he has 1 ppg and 1 ppa, even if we take those away hes on pace for 36 points which is STILL more than Beauvilliers 33 (and thats letting Beauvillier keep his ppg and ppa btw).

How about a better comparison: Arturri Lehkonen. At the time he had averaged around 30 points with the canadiens for 6 seasons, had never hit 20 goals until playing for the Avs. Avs traded Justin Barron (first round pick) and a second to get him. Arguably youre paying less for Raddysh. But what do you think is a reasonable price for Raddysh?

2 million dollar player averaging less than 15 min a night on pace for 45 points, I'm guessing his value is pretty good.

Rebuild Continues
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kyle_Davidson</b></div><div>Post started well and tapered off torwards the end… and here’s why.
What you did well
Vancouver trade seems like a good move for both sides assuming the Perry issue is something akin to “wanting to go chase a cup” and not something heinous.
Frost trade is good, but if it shouldn't include the 2nd round pick from Chicago. They aren’t playing him so a late mid-late 2nd is more appropriate. I would change it to the LAK 2nd but not a big critique.
Room for improvement:
The raddysh trade is good value, but I have doubts about Colorado sending a pick that far out. Also we need guys who can play on this roster, It won’t be good for Bedard If we dump everybody.
Edmonton deal isn’t good value for taking on Campbell also on 32 thoughts pod… Friedman said the hawks are over the idea of taking cap dump contracts. So that isn’t a price that would make them jump.</div></div>
Davidson likes to “bet” on the futures of other teams, I could see Davidson ask for a later first. This team has already lost a litany of players to injuries losing Raddysh isnt going to break the team, we’re looking at another bottom 3 finish with or without him.
Hawks might not actively seek out dumps, but everyone has their price (I was trying to be reasonable but I agree its a little light). If its 2 high picks and a great prospect, dont think the Hawks can decline.
Appreciate the feedback and hope you had a good Thanksgiving!

Both teams decline. Getting the better player, with retention, and dumping multiyear contract takes more than 2 fifths. Zadorov will also cost more than ahlers and some mid round picks.

I cringe when I see him play physical considering his injury history, but he's great in the corners somehow always comes up with the puck and has good size that he uses to protect the puck. Very solid 4th liner.
