Ok Booth put the whiskey down.
I asked how much I would have to add. Not sure where the problem is. Burns is great, elite, and the better player for sure. Theodore provides some more youth while helping win-now, and is on half the cap hit Burns is at with the same term. Gives you serious cap comfort

It does but you also know Burns is a top 5 defenseman on a good day, top 10 on a bad when, and Theo ain’t that. Also NMC.

That’s what both Michael & Booth said, and I haven’t seen a trade for him back to your team yet. He got traded by the 1st GM.

Are you though? You seem to not know many of the GMs and get rather irate when someone offers you a guy that doesnt meet your standards...

I’ve been jerked around a few times for Makar so at this point I’m just good.

Keep in mind Dell was the best backup goalie last year. It’s not gonna be cheap if it does happen.

Define "not gonna be cheap". And keep in mind, I'm not looking to make any deals that will be overturned by the BOG, so let's keep things reasonable if possible.
I mean, he is still and will always be a "back-up" as long as the former Calgary Hitmen star Martin Jones is there.....and his contract reflects that.
I'm open to working things out, but not willing to pay "starter price" for a career back-up.
He's already 29 and never had a starting job, plus he's from here and just wants to come home and play in front of family.
