Replace the 2024 1st pick with the 2025 pick and Montreal MAY consider. Zegras is not worth a 7OA(or better).

Yeah, he is, and more, you hope the guy taken at 7OA this year becomes as good as Trevor Zegras is.

Put it in this perspective a one directional Drouin got traded for a 9th OA Sergachev. Montreal will not make that mistake again. Montreal and Anaheim are simply not going to do a Zegras trade. Both teams would need to trade a player they need for piece(s) they are missing.

Roy's offensive ceiling is probably what Zegras is producing now, so definitely Zegras has more offensive potential, but Roy is by far the more complete 200-foot player. No way Habs move him. Adding 5th to 7th overall on top of that?! The deal is a laughable overpayment.

God I hope Zegras gets traded anywhere but MTL...

You seem to be forgetting that Zegras put up 60+ his first two seasons in the league and just turned 23, he's still developing and getting better too, so the claim that he's "only" a 60 point player is frankly bullsh*t on your end. Zegras has paced or beat MacKinnon, EP40, and other elite talents his first two seasons in the league, so no, whatever prospect taken at 7 isn't going to have near the ceiling Zegras would, and may not even match what Zegras has already done.
