Description

Just my thoughts about what could happen...

- Määttä is just a move to clear cap
- Bonuses (if met) will end up getting counted against the 2025 - 2026 cap when there will be more room available
- I don't think there are many teams that Kane will want to go to and I don't think he will get offered much more than a 3x6 so a 4x4.25 will be close, especially if what he wants is stability. Would prefer 3 years, but 4 is what helps keep the AAV down in a cap tight year
- Hoping Roy takes a little bit of a discount to come home. Would prefer 4 years, but 5 will need to be offered
- If Perron really wants to stay I offer him an easy to earn bonus filled 35+ year contract (again, expected to count against the cap in 2025 - 2026). If he doesn't want it then I bring up Czarnik and move on
- Kasper starts on the 4th until he outperforms Copp to take 3C
- I'm running a three goalie platoon again because you just can't get out of Hussos contract - with luck he can play games this year

If Perron is back, then he’s in the lineup, likely in the 3rd line. Copp likely on the 3rd line. I’d love to see Danielson make the jump but it’s more likely he starts in GR, same with Mazur. Maybe a little light on the Kane deal, unfortunately I think he’ll get 5M from someone, maybe Detroit.
