If possible it would be smart to add Crosby, but not just merely due to his playoff success, but because he's very much still elite. Letang is still an effective player but he's not the same player he used to be and he's still plagued with injuries.

While it could be good to have Stanley Cup champs on your team, it's definitely good to have players who have never won because they are even more hungry. TB has a ton two-time, back to back Stanley Cup Champs, several who are still in their prime and they just lost in the first round again. Right now, Florida seems to be the most Stanley Cup hungry-team in the Atlantic and they have the talent to help them get there. Leafs need to be hungrier, but most importantly they need a Dcore. When they had a Dcore, they were in need of a bottom 6 and a complete top 6. They'll have the cap moving forward to make those additions, they just need to stay hungry.
