When you really look at it we do not need to move anyone. Draft Lindstrom 5OA and see what we get out of this group for another year and go for a real winning year in Laval. That is what I would do if I was HuGo. This team isn’t really ready to make a push yet, they need another year.

While I agree Montreal doesn't have to trade anyone, and next season could serve purely as a transition / development year, I don't think they should be sitting on $15M in cap space.

I mostly agree but I wouldn’t want to hold back our D, Hutson and Mailloux especially if they’re ready. If they’re not sure send to Laval but I think they deserve a shot to force their way onto the team.
