Description
If the Canes do decide they need a reliable 2C, go after Stephenson.

If they want to give KK a real shot next season instead, gotta play him at least 15 min a night and keep him at 2C and then either keep Teuvo or go get someone like DeBrusk, Marchessault, or Toffoli. Look at Stamkos, Zucker, Tarasenko, Duchene, etc too but they are more doubtful imo. Could keep Necas, but idk I'm just not sure they will.

    He's a center that has averaged ~53% on over 4000 faceoffs over the last four years and scored 20 points en route to winning the Stanley Cup last season lol

    Edit: If you want a 2nd or 3rd round pick instead then fine. I was just going off of the assumption that Dubas would want more prospects like the Guentzel trade. Maybe I'm wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️ but also doesn't have to be the Penguins, I just picked a team.

    either way, they aren't taking that cap hit on.
    Try when they throw in the towel and try giving a team something worth taking that cap hit back.

    You don't get to dump cap on people and think they will take it for scraps. That's never happening.
