No I picked the 20 year period where everyone drafted should be in the NHL and being productive . And Sillinger an Friesen don't come close to Cirelli .

You're crazy really didn't know Iginla was drafted between 1998-2017 READING IS FUNDAMENTAL CLEARLY AN ISSUE FOR YOU. I stated from 1997-2017 so using Sillinger 1989,Rolston 1991, Witt1993, Friessen1994, Iginla1996 all fall outside and don't change the percentages so,pull your head out of your rectum and learn to properly comprehend what you read. Sillinger wasn't as good as Cirelli either. Crouse isn't better. So in the 20 year period your down to Kopitar and Ellis as I said originally DUH

You're either clueless about how LTIR works or are trying to sabotage TB.
Taking on an LTIR Contract is not to be done unless there is zero alternative. IE dumping Tyler Johnson's $5,000,000 cap hit. Trading cirelli to take on prices is soooooo monumentally stupid I mean biblical proportions stupidity . Ok the league does the salary cap on a daily basis. The cap is divided by 186 each players contract on the roster is also . So this coming season the allowable daily cap hit will be $471,505.38 so if a team doesn't have an LTIR contract and only uses 451,505.38 they would then acrue 20,000 additional dollars of cap for the next day making the next days max daily cap hit 491,505.38 however if you have that same cap but you're using LTIR you're considered to have used the full cap then given the relief and not able to acrue cap.

About 31 teams dude has 42% d-zone starts, plays against Barkov, Mathews, Stutzle,Crosby,McDavid etc every night. He's finished in the top 9 in Selke voting every year he's been in the league. So, the perceived lack of production is more than made up for.

trading some RFAs

I don’t think the jackets can afford him long term. This also allows them to draft silayev who should be NHL ready when dillons contract runs out</div></div>
They don't couple reasons
A) They were 5 in GF 23 in GA Goal prevention was Brisebois stated objective this off season. This doesn't aid that.
B) TB organizational philosophy doesn't do undersized defensemen.

Nose Nukes And Cap Maneuvering
I love Crouse the player, but TB doesn't remotely consider that. Hagel is better younger signed a lot longer. He was 8th in the NHL in 5x5 points last season. He also hasn't played a second of the club friendly 8 year extension he signed, do that would seriously deter others from doing so in the future. The Philly trade is cold hard trash. Can't afford Savard. Nor are they really interested in Savard
Ahhh LAFFS fan trying to sabotage TB

That Cirelli trade is utterly assinine. They save 800k to severely downgrade their defense down the middle to gain minimal offensive production when TB was 5th in GF 23rx in GA . They also weaken their blueline BRILLIANT!!
