Blueger to Bjustad is a huge speed drop off yeah he has size and was in an offensive position with Arizona last year. And Zadorov was 3rd in Ice time in the playoffs and is loved by coaching staff I do agree 5m+ is too much but I believe for Zadorov fit is more important that straight money. I think he loves working with Foote and Gonchar and will stay for a reasonable increase for 5-8 years.

Yeah it's one or the other for Höglander or Lekkerimaki though if Van has a choice they'd probably send Höglander. Other Could be other prospect like Raty or anyone not named Willander

This goes against the speed Allvin wants to bring in. And signing both Pesce and Carrier puts a lot Cash for years which would effect Willander coming in. Plus Carrier is probably too small for the D core they'd prefer to build.

Necas Anderson Idea
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>canucksfan43</b></div><div>I cant see the Canucks moving Garland</div></div>
It's highly unlikely but if a good enough offer comes across and management thinks Lekkerimaki is NHL ready then they could move Garland for a haul.

Why pay 3m for a 4th line C would be wiser to use a part of that to upgrade Sprong or get a better offensive winger to play with Miller and Boeser. Also not trading an unprotected 1st to move Mikheyev out as injuries could always derail our year.

Hronek for Necas
Why are we adding a 2nd for while giving up the harder thing to acquire? I like Necas but if we are adding we are overpaying. 1 for 1 or look elsewhere imo.

The Canucks deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mv21227</b></div><div>KK’s defensive analytics got a lot worse this season, and has never been that good offensively. He was relegated to 4th line minutes/healthy scratch most of the second half of the season. 4.8M for another 6 years for a bottom 6 player, that’s an anchor contract. I’d consider Mikheyev for KK + a pick, but definitely not Hoglander for KK</div></div>
Eh KKs buyout and ability to play Center makes him more valuable then Mikheyev. I agree not for Hoglander without a huge add. Hoglander to me needs to kept out of the top six until he improves his consistency and his passing ability.

Necas KK
I'd say we have to add a pick . As buyout for KK is better than Mikheyev's so if they want to move him for salary not paying the full offload fee.

KK's contract isn't an anchor contract. He imo is better offensively then Suter and about on par defensively yeah Suter is on a nice deal. But I could see KK either playing the wing with Miller or being the Center between Garland-Joshua and could be what he needs to take the next step.

Necas for Hronek
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Canes have Morrow long term for the Burns replacement. Hronek isn't worth Necas straight up, Vancouver would need to add, and a fair bit as well</div></div>
In a vacuum a 40-50 pt RHS Defenceman who can play on your top pairing and eat up 22 minutes a night is worth more than a winger who hasn't made a PPG nor hit 30 Goals. Both guys a very valuable but 1 is a position many teams have in demand.
But with that said if Waddell is happy running with Burns/Morrow/ whoever else they sign. Then yeah I can see Necas having more value then Hronek to Carolina, but Van wouldn't add would look elsewhere at one of the teams chomping at the bit for a guy like Hronek. I do have a feeling Staois looking to make his big splash might overpay for him which would be great.

His contracts aren't too far off. Joshua was very inconsistent in the playoffs so shaving a bit off his makes sense. Zadorov I think would want more years to bring down the AAV to stay in Vancouver at 4 years probablywould like 5-5.5m. Lindholm is about 1-2m off if he wants to stay need him to take a little less. Pesce yeah probably off around the same I think he'll want a contract like Parayko.

Any chance you'd move Beck as well in the deal with a lower pick then winnipegs 1st. Ie. Beck, Barron, 3rd/4th for Hronek. Van could use someone to challenge or be better than Raty for our Center Prospect depth.

Yeah not sure what that cap for Lindholm will be me personally I think 7m tops anymore let the others sign him. Any rumors on how much Debrusk wants?Debrusk rights for Lindholm makes sense.
On the outside any chance we could also get Geekie from you?

Connor Garland. If we are trading Hronek to San Jose. I'm pushing for Bystedt over picks as I think he can help as soon as next season and give us Cost controlled asset for the next little bit.

Man Myers imo needs to do the club a favor after milking his 6m. At 3.25m I think it would be better to use that to sign a different D. 2m maybe 2.5m tops for Myers he was good this year but I'd rather bring in a more stable person.
Also not sure I'd throw that at Dillon I'm not a fan of his game and imo he got away with a ton on Winnipeg that was called lots against us. If they think D-Petey/Wolanin/Brisebois are close to NHL ready I'd suggest bringing Cole back on a cheaper 1 year deal yeah he doesn't match up well against fleet footed teams like Edmonton but as a vet who can help out and play 60 games so some of the kids can get NHL experience and become a 4th option on the left side if injuries happen.

Using Hronek to move Mikheyev would be like using Marner to offload Tavares incredibly bad asset management. Canuck pass either they find someone willing to trade Mikheyev for another reclamation project that can hopefully save Canucks some money or the keep him and hope this is just like 90% of the time that a person coming off ACL surgery had an off year and next one will be a full rebound.

So trade for a guy with a huge issue and one step away from possibly being permanently banned from the league for the low price of our best offensive prospect+ a 2nd.
Also trading EP40 for a guy who's career post season stats are similar to Peteys off 1st playoff run (non-covid) and an aging injury prone power forward who is past his prime. This would gut our team and would be lucky to make the playoffs especially seen Silovs hasn't played a full NHL season no guarantee he can handle 50 games in the NHL and still be good.
