<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MeetYourMakar</b></div><div>LoC is due for a raise, yes. But the Avs showed how hard it is to replace LoC and he would be better served as an in house rental.

Wood trade away if there is a taker, throw in Colton too.

The trade for Rants and Brady/Batherson equals zero cap help and a decrease in talent. I don't know if the pick swap evens it out.

Hamonic and other scrubs don't need to be in here from the Avs pov. I wouldnt consider any of them genuine depth options. JBD would have to pass through waivers and I'd rather run Malinski on his strong side.

You are just trying to make routine issues seem like do or die for the Avs cup future.

No excuse for buying out Nuch, you trade him or support him. Take a look at the long term cap hit.

Avs stars have produced in all aspects during the playoffs, Leafs turned to fertilizer. I would much rather pay 3 elite playoff performers than 4 no shows.</div></div>

Malinski is gonna be full time starter. Hamonic only has 1 year left and need another physical dmen. JBD is a serviceable 7th dmen like jones was.

You trade rantenen and your able to get tkachuk and batherson for the equal of rantenen extension hit. Moose is gonna want around 11.

Plus you get extra draft capital. You get a power forward who isn't afraid to drop the gloves and a sniper batherson with Mittlestadt as playmaker.

You keep rantenen then who's gonna be in top 6?

Landeskog isn't even top 6 material RIGHT NOW.

The buyout for nuke is 12 years spread out
It's only 1.5 in dead money. That's nothing
