Habs make it Wright

I am. But I guess I don't see as much difference between Wright & Beck as you do.
Where do you have Wright in a 2022 redraft? Still 4OA?!

Habs make it Wright
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lancebmx</b></div><div>Take out the Seattle first and it's actually a lot closer.</div></div>
Why? I would categorically not trade 5OA in 2024 for Wright.
I did a little redraft of 2022 and I have Wright anywhere from 10-15. I have Beck 20-25.
Perhaps this is a hot take but I think the difference between 25 and 10 in any draft is about equal to the difference between 5 and 8.
Please tell me where my analysis falls apart?

Primeau is obviously better than Perets and Canes would be the ones adding, but given they already have Spencer Martin signed as a 3rd string goalie, the main difference is waiver exemption and Perets has that while Primeau does not.

Ok ease up lol.
I like Halttunen and he is developing faster and bettter than expected but is a long way from a sure thing and I love Sturm but he is a depth C.
My issue is the price contract is only partially insured meaning it’s a lot of cost for a LTIR guy, so those picks are needed to cover the cost incurred.
I’d be ok with this
Evans and Sturm are fairly interchangeable, so I could do that or not.
So for Halttunen it’s a KHL guy who we never know if he comes over, a replacement level player and a 5th for Halttunen and that’s an easy no

It’s easy to have opinions based on cherry picking the poor performances of a player. If Trouba being the captain of this team can lead his team to a president trophy and into the ECF, he’s not the liability you think he is. He literally broke his ankle before the playoffs started which effected his play.

It's always good to see someone get an ELC, especially when they are undrafted...
Why does this make me like the Habs pool even more? Too many likeable players

This gets me very excited about him. Worked his way from the 2nd tier in Switzerland to the best goalie in the top league.

6’4”. .940% in 19 games and .933% in 18 playoff games in NL this season. Looks like he could be a solid add for the habs organization

Jealous that the Habs got him as my Avs were in need of exactly this type of netminder after losing Prosvetov/Holm back to Europe.
Nice pipeline in net and age progression for the Habs and pro tandems setup for next year
NHL: Montembeault (27) - Primeau (24)
AHL: Hughes (27) - Dobes (23)
NCAA: Fowler (19) - Croteau (20) (for sure a longshot but you never know)

They make more money in Switzerland 🇨🇭 compared to AHL I'm sure.</div></div>
It's an NHL contract, and at this point he's the 3rd string goalie (No point in bringing up Dobes). So if a goalie gets injured, He'll get a taste in the NHL. He's Canadian so it's very likely his dream to play in the NHL. Well worth taking a minor salary loss to achieve that dream.

No family ties to KH.
Veteran to support Dobes in the AHL and hopefully do the goddam playoffs finally.

No relation to my knowledge. Just had a elite level year in Switzerland, so worth the gamble. The reason Laval didn't make the playoffs last year was the goalies were a tire fire, so it doesn't hurt to get someone like this.

Perhaps another benefit to having Reinbacher in Switzerland last season. Habs had probably more eyes there than any other team and snagged the Swiss leagues best goalie. Will be interesting to see how he does in Laval.

It's an intriguing trade idea, I'm assuming it's because beck just won the memorial cup MVP as well.
Can you give me the breakdown to how you valued the package for the 10OA ? How much is beck and how much is Montenbeault

All I said was that your offer was **** and that your rationale was flawed. But you keep answering making personnal attacks over and over. Attacking the person instead of the argument is a serious lack of maturity.
