No interest in trading down 7 spots for a 2nd. Value is probably ok though

Buffalo declines, too expensive for a winger when we need a 3C.

I doubt it, they'll be more likely to sign and trade

Cozens is more cap then Ek and not as good of a player. Honestly, I would rather trade Rossi and assets for Cozens to be our #2. I don't think there's any way you get Ek even though you have a lot of players that can help us</div></div>
Well no chance we are trading Cozens, just was shooting out proposals with our 1st

No thanks, we have had enough mentally damaged players to last a lifetime in Buffalo.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>rktkt66</b></div><div>Like the Seattle trade, although the Kraken may ask for another piece to free up Borgen. I'm still interested in Larsson as another option from their roster - not only because his experience and defensive-first focus is better suited to what Buffalo needs than Borgen's and their physicality / size is about the same.
Hate the Flyers trade.......throwing away the 11OA pick for an injury-plagued aging center (regardless of his reputation) is major overpayment. If the Sabres are going to get a center from Philly, odds are they want Laughton to be it.</div></div>
Laughton is terrible to the point of being analytic travesty

I was referring to injuries; his neck one particularly
Plus he has only ok stats while playing 63-37 offense to defense starts. Buffalo needs more defensively responsible players; we have plenty of offensive skewed players.

Well he’s certainly not worth Savoie’s upside

Moving up 13 spots in the draft doesn't do anything for a team looking to win now, and malinski is basically the same player as jokiharju except close to 1.5mil cheaper. Too many holes in colorados roster after this and not enough coming back.</div></div>
I'm basing it off a proposal on HFboards

Sabres
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KrakenTheCode</b></div><div>I've seen that swap floated, and to me trading Borgen for Jokiharju doesn't really make a lot of sense for Seattle either. Borgen's a key contributor to the Kraken's penalty kill, and that's something Jokiharju can't really replace given his lack of contributions on either special teams unit. Bylsma has also stated that he's not going to change much tactically, so I don't see Borgen being adversely affected at all by his hiring.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>rktkt66</b></div><div>Agreed - I think the most plausible way to reunite with Borgen is if Jokiharju's RFA rights go back. They're comparable ages, both have seen top 4 minutes and Kraken AGM Botterill like Jokiharju enough to trade for him when he was the Buffalo GM. The question is if the Kraken would value the physicality that Borgen offers more or less than the skill in transition that Jokiharju has. Bylsma always wanted a mobile defense so his arrival may mean a change of system that Borgen isn't as good a fit for as he was under Hakstol.</div></div>
I would swap Jokiharju for Borgen straight up if Kerfoot is untouchable
