2 mil retention on lee should get a 2nd or 3rd. 3.5 mil retention will get a 1st (30+ goal scorer with good analytics and a captain at 2x3.5 will get that)

Habs offer a mid round pick for Pageau. Let’s say a 2025 3rd round pick (VAN).

I would prefer resigning Monahan to a 3 year deal even if it means paying him around $6M. But Pageau is a good plan B.
