Maybe the value is fair but Leafs don’t need RHD, not more LHD. Just not a fit imo

Ehlers definitely won't be moving for that. A 2nd and low end filler don't do anything for the Jets.

3rd round pick doesn't really mean anything to me.

My real issue with it is what else is available in FA to replace him.... and the answer to that is not much.
So I'm not sure I like the other option better.

That tor deal is a real lateral move for SJ at best

The WPG deal only hurts us even if the value is on our side, why are we buying a winger whose contract expires in a year? might as well just play Gushchin and see if he works out or move him for a young rd of about the same pedigree
