Hatakka,Vilen there you fill. Devils do not need a dman, they need a LW/C cuz jack is not a center, dude hurts the team being a doofus at faceoffs. Devils would be stupid to take a dman instead of trading down to get more pick to over pay for a goalie. Sick and tired of dumbies thinking NJ need a Dman.

My preference is best player available. But didn’t really make this from NJD perspective. It’s the entire 1st round.

Stiga is way too low. I have ranked #8 on my board, defensive game and skating alone he's solid. The lowest I see him going is 14th.

Also, why Greentree out of the first round?

Just ignore at this point.

If you don't target a dman he complains, but apparently NJD doesn't need a dman.

He whines if you buy a goalie

He'll whine if you go after forwards.

Mediocre tournament. Probably dripping too far here….but that is just how the draft played out.

Hagen Burrows wont hit NHL Ice until 27/28. He just played his senior year of HS will play a Year or 2 in the USHL then anywhere from 1-3 years at Denver where he is committed. - yes I know this is just completely random I just saw that he may hit NHL Ice in 2025 and thats wildly inaccurate.

I know...its sarcasm. 2018, 2021, 2024....(almost makes up for losing 2015)

I played the lottery and that is what came out.

Just kind of turned out that way. Wasn't intended to be a rankings...or anything planned. It was mock draft done pick-by-pick. Guys fell. Guys grabbed early.

EDIT: Also I've said this many times before while reading your mocks, I love how realistic you keep the mocks rather than just play it safe. Cause in real life not every team plays it safe.

As of May 7th, he is slated to return to Sioux City for 2024-25, but could be in Denver next season. If one-and-done, he COULD see NHL ice in 2025.

But I think you are taking it too literally. There are so many ways one can say, "this guy is good"...and suggesting Burrows is closer to NHL than many think is one approach. He is highly skilled player, skates well, and has off-the-charts Hockey IQ. Big frame, could use a few lbs.

He is someone I could see sneak higher in draft than many expect.
