Not that I would necessarily do this from the wings side cause I'm a big Kasper fan. But you don't think it'd make sense for em? Accelerate the build a bit faster by getting fetti in the lineup?

Caps would be way more interested in Ehlers than Pionk

Not sure they have anything of need for the jets (RHD upgrade/Power forward for top 6), Pionk was any team that would take him tbh

Wings do need to find a scoring top 6 winger, but not by trading our top centre prospects. Kasper might spend another year in AHL to develop more offensively by playing top minutes, but he is ready to make jump now. This doesn’t really accelerate anything much and Wings correctly remain patiently not rushing our rebuild process/prospects. Wings will need Kasper locking down some teams top center in the playoffs one day.

Think that is best for the Wings as well

Detroit has too many LHDs so Stanley has very little value from Detroit's POV. I'm not sure Lundmark makes the NHL after 3 full seasons in the AHL and has yet to play a game in the NHL. I'm not sure about Tuomisto either but he just signed and played his first season in the AHL. They probably have similar value right now but Tuomisto has a higher celling. I have nothing against Perfetti but like you I'd take Kasper over him.

I can't really see then trading marco, his compete is what yzerman loves. Perfetti doesn't profile the same way. They need scorers in the worst way, if it was a top guy I can see marco involved(like in a bigger deal for kyle connor), otherwise he's exactly what yzerman wants

Yzerman waits two years and Kyle Connor comes home in UFA to play with Larks!!… just as Edvinsson, Seider, Raymond, Johansson begin their prime years… with ASP, Danielson, Kasper, Mazur, Wallinder, and Lombardi all having graduated and making impacts… plus hopefully Cossa and the ‘24 1st joining too.
Been a longg rebuild road but finally there’s light at the end of the tunnel and future is bright. Wings will make playoffs in 2 years and then stay for the next two decades.

I agree Perfetti and Kasper profile completely different, but Perfetti doesn’t lack compete, he currently majorly lacks foot-speed and also strength. Kinda a funny skater still, no? Idk. But Perfetti is high character and very hard worker and will have a nice career. Personal prediction is fetti will continue to do just fine as he progresses developing in the NHL turning into nice player for Jets, but will leave fans and org. wanting more somehow and then he will explode as a late bloomer reaching his potential (while probably on another team after Jets tire of waiting and everyone gets change of scenery) a la Reinhart or Middlestadt type of way.
