Pulock can easily play with Jmo, he immediately becomes our best RHD, pageu is not a just some 4th line player not sure where you got that from and his contract is worth it if we can dump Pionk without a buyout or paying assets. Ehlers isn't resigning nor do I want him to, so yeah all day long

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SweetRevenge19</b></div><div>Like Perfetti, prefer Kasper
Wings do need to find a scoring top 6 winger, but not by trading our top centre prospects. Kasper might spend another year in AHL to develop more offensively by playing top minutes, but he is ready to make jump now. This doesn’t really accelerate anything much and Wings correctly remain patiently not rushing our rebuild process/prospects. Wings will need Kasper locking down some teams top center in the playoffs one day.</div></div>
Think that is best for the Wings as well

Not sure they have anything of need for the jets (RHD upgrade/Power forward for top 6), Pionk was any team that would take him tbh

Not that I would necessarily do this from the wings side cause I'm a big Kasper fan. But you don't think it'd make sense for em? Accelerate the build a bit faster by getting fetti in the lineup?

Offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dzmets</b></div><div>You can disagree that the Jets would be moving these players and will move different players to shake things up there. I would be interested to know what meaningful moves out they will make and what you would expect to see coming back.
Kisakov and Jokiharju were included to absorb the skinner contract. Of course perhaps it would better for buffalo to retain maybe 33% and not add the extra assets if a team like Calgary feels like they will not be doing a full rebuild and will need the cap space</div></div>
Id expect them to look at trading Ehlers/Perfetti/Iafallo, gauging the market/buyout option on Pionk/Schmidt, as for coming in they need a good strong top 4 RD, and a power forward that can play in the top 6

This site especially is bad at that. No ownership group in the league is remotely considering "rebuilding" after finishing 4th in the regular season standings. It's pure delusion.</div></div>
Rebuild or "retool" should've happened after 2018 and they wouldn't be in this mess now.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Birtle34</b></div><div>Answer me this, where would the jets sit if they let helly and scheifele go to free agency, possibly some token draft picks for jumping the line to talk contracts before July 1, then using the 17 million in savings combined with assets on nearing contract completion or a year or two out to free agency, moving them for bad contracts and picks and prospects til the cows come home. Take a page from the coyotes basically, but tear it down thoroughly and ugly, then with any luck there’s 4/5 extra firsts in next 3 drafts, and some of the ugly turns into something with opportunity and be back in the saddle by 2029, when hopefully and Dallas/colorado ready to give up the division.</div></div>
I cant understand most of what youre trying to ask/say but tank for Mckenna/Dupont

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jfkst1</b></div><div>Isn't Winnipeg having some questionable financials already? Probably like Calgary, they can't afford to rebuild even if they wanted to and they were a good team this year, just overmatched against a superior team. Happens every postseason. Doesn't mean they are a weak team at all.</div></div>
Their defense and top 6 too soft will never compete in the playoffs like this. and the owners have 0 financial issues, they pissed off season ticket holders and didnt sell out every game. Jets fans are smart they will support the team through a rebuild. they will not support a team that has no direction and gets bounced early every year from a lack of effort

Definitely wish we rebuilt but the contract itself is good for where the group is at and going

Debatable we gave him a couple extra years to keep the AAV down, Jets will be entering a new era new core at the end and looking for lottery picks anyways

Think we could find a better depth RD in fa than miller imo, had a good 2nd and 3rd period tonight but was that impressed with the games he played. Better than Pionk but that's not hard lol
